message 254: by Paula (new)

Paula (paula66) | 13 comments I win so far 516 and that is only on my kindle. I have many more on my computer. I try to read one or two freebies and then a author I know. I have found some great reads with the freebies

message 255: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) | 304 comments Paula, I have 6 bookcases (3 x 6 shelf and 3 x 3 shelf) full of books, about 5-8 down by my bed and 1,332 on my Kindle @ the moment x

message 256: by Paula (new)

Paula (paula66) | 13 comments Hi Fiona, 516 is only the books I haven't read on my kindle. (TBR) I generally read the paperbacks when I use to get, them straight away. I suppose if I add up all of my paper and hardcover as well as the ebooks I have I think I would have over 3500 ebooks and 500 paper or hardcover. I still haven't got all my books on goodread at the moment I only have about 900 listed so far but I get tired of doing it.
It's good to meet someone else who is crazy for books
Paula

Aoibhínn (aoibhinn) Currently, I've got 109 TBR novels on my Kindle. And another 40 odd physical books that I have in a huge pile in my bedroom.

message 258: by Helen (new)

Helen Snap! I've got 109 although I've started one. Then I did have 130 odd paperbacks but I don't know now, I have definitely read a few.

message 262: by Anika (new)

Anika (teddybear1) | 84 comments I have 8 books to be read, still the plan to read all before I buy more since I have been made redundant/unemployed.

message 263: by Char (new)

Char 114 right now and 24 short story collections!

message 264: by Karen M (new)

Karen M I finally seem to be more selective in what I download, at last! Wave the word FREE in front of me and I seem to lose it but like I said, I seem to be under control now, finally. I have about 700 books on my Kindle and probably about 300 books on my TBR shelf.

I got myself under control as well, and purged a lot that I most likely won’t read. Anything with a low 3’s Goodreads rating on down got archived, and a few completely removed from my Kindle account. So, I think there are around 70 books on my Kindle (down from 200+), as well as a few issues of Asimov’s and Fantasy & Science Fiction magazine.

message 266: by R.P. (new)

R.P. Dahlke (rpdahlke) I'm down to a manageable five in my TBR. I only read Indie Mystery/suspense and the sub-genres especially like humorous mysteries 'cause that's what I write and I won't read anything that costs more than $2.99 because my e-books are only $.99

message 267: by Kristin (new)

Kristin | 4 comments 130 Kindle TBR. About the same number physical TBR. I don't buy physical books anymore, but I have tons languishing from before I got my Kindle. I am trying to force myself to get through the physical ones, since I hate having books displayed on my shelves that I haven't read. I don't care so much about getting through the Kindle TBR, since no one can see it. ;)

message 268: by Bridget (new)

Bridget | 15 comments I feel better about reading these post!!! I am way behind too. I have about 150 TBR. That is ridiculous!!! =)

K | 1 comments 1200 or so.

message 271: by [deleted user] (new)

I have 19 currently.

message 272: by Ken (new)

Ken Magee | 26 comments I have 11 unread books on my Kindle and I wonder when I'll get time to read them. I was astounded by some of the numbers already posted... K 1,200 wow!

People seem to have plenty to read for the next 5-6 years so I really don't need to rush the writing of my next book!

message 273: by Brandon (new)

Brandon Nagel (bnagel1976) I have about 700 books that I have not read on my Kindle Fire.

Okay so I got a few more books so before finishing the 8 I had left so now I probably up to 20 maybe.

message 276: by LemonLinda (new)

LemonLinda (lwilliamson0423) Probably around 50 on my Kindle.

message 277: by Helen (new)

Helen I'm now up to about 110 on my kindle, so it's catching up with my paperbacks!

message 278: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 4 comments I don't tend to buy books on my Kindle until I'm actually ready to read them. I just download the samples so that I have a list of recommendations to work from. In saying that, I have an ENORMOUS stack of (physical) books in my TBR pile!

message 279: by Aoibhínn (new)

Aoibhínn (aoibhinn) I just brought a bunch of books yesterday so I now have 122 kindle books and 40 physical books in my to be read pile.

message 280: by Max (new)

Max (52xmax) | 6 comments Around 150, and they keep piling up by the week, but then again I'm trimming down the queue. It's very dynamic.

message 281: by DJ =^^= (new)

DJ =^^= (debzee) | 32 comments I added about 20 more to my list over the weekend.

message 282: by Roberta (new)

Roberta (driope) I just cleaned the previous list and load new books in it... I'm trying to keep it down to 3 or 4 pages of titles, but it's hard. And I don't know why, but I developed the need of re-reading so many of the good books I have in my library... new books, old books: there's not enough time in the day to read as much as I want

message 283: by sonya (new)

sonya marie madden | 268 comments i have 4 pages of books on kindle, and 12 on my kobo. oh boy, i'm going to be busy!

message 284: by Matt (new)

Matt Posner (mattposner) About 50 to be read including lots of review copies that are overdue plus many books from friends. When you are an indie author it is easy to get books to read.

message 285: by Char (new)

Char I'm up to 150 TBR and 26 short story collection TBR!

message 286: by MsKayle (new)

MsKayle Jensen | 4 comments I think I have over 300 now, gotta quit getting them faster than I can read, LOL

message 287: by Karen M (new)

Karen M I have slowed down with the free downloads, finally, but I have enough books between the Kindle and paper books to keep me reading for the next five/six years.

message 288: by Darlene (new)

Darlene (dar49) | 18 comments Over 2,000 but I still find more I would like to read sometime. So I archive all but the latest thousand to the cloud. Is there any help for this addiction?

Christina (royalesque) | 4 comments Between the freebie books from Amazon, books sent to me for review, and books from the public domain; I have 70 books on my Kindle Fire with more being added. 55 of them being on my TBR-Pile. You can never have enough books, IMO. Especially when their books that you have every intention of reading!!

message 291: by Lord Nouda (new)

Lord Nouda (nouda) I'm not sure how many I have, but there's 4 pages of unread books on my KT atm and it's growing at about a page a week.

message 292: by stormhawk (new)

stormhawk | 542 comments At least 15 more then this morning because I got a wacky idea in my head about looking for pulps.

message 293: by Agnes (new)

Agnes (silkchapters) Wow....410...gotta get started reading them :) So many books, not enough time.

message 294: by Caedy (new)

Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments My TBR kindle items is currently around 180, listed in my Unread category :)

I really, really need to stop raiding the free books on Amazon and getting my friends to loan me books :)

message 295: by Anika (new)

Anika (teddybear1) | 84 comments I have 10 on my kindle TBR but I've got over 300 books on my TBR listed on my page here

message 296: by Gerrie (new)

Gerrie | 4 comments 275 TBR on my Kindle. I can't resist the freebies, and have to check for them every day (blessings on eReader IQ and Kindle Nation). It's become an addiction, but one I don't want to break!

message 297: by Caedy (new)

Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments Gerrie,
Kindle Nation and eReader IQ? I must, must, must look into these places, can you link me? :D
I also subscribe to Kindle Author on FB and Wordpress :) So get nearly minutely emails with new books that are free even for a limited time. It is how I got Indecent Proposal.

message 298: by Char (new)

Char All the e-books by the author of Indecent Proposal are free right now. If you do a search on Ammy for the author's name, they will come up.

Ereaderiq.com
You can sign up and they will email you a summary of the free books for that day, sorted by genre. They also have an AWESOME price drop feature. If you import your wish list from Ammy, ereader will email you when the price drops down, according to parameters you set.

message 299: by Caedy (new)
