Rose, a lot of people felt that way about Lover Unbound. I can honestly say they get better, but Phury's book isn't a favorite of many either.

I just read Lover Unleashed and LOVED IT!!! So I'd say, Keeeeep Reeeeeeeeeeading!

Rose - Dhes is right: Phury's book was not the best in the series by a far cry! But they definitely get a lot better!! I loved the last two (need to reread them), and now need to read Lover Unleashed..

With the previous books in the series, really crappy stuff happened (ex: Wellsie being killed, Tohr disappearing, etc.), but in the end the main characters had their HEAs. I just felt cheated with this one. And even though the author wrapped it up where everyone was cool with the fact that the heroine was a ghost, it just didn't feel right to me. Like something was missing. (hide spoiler)]

I TOTALLY get what you're saying. The WARDen actually addressed that part of the story and said had she written another 10 pages, everyone would have been on board with that, but in her mind, it was crystal clear, and she didn't realize that it wouldn't be fulfilling to the readers.

The books get so much better!!!!!! And V and Jane are a big part of Lover Unleashed and it was really well done.
