AND
C. Recycle: Read a book borrowed from a friend -- Sh*t My Dad Says by Justin Halpern
25.2 - Sandy’s task: Bucket List
A. Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life by Barbara Kingsolver -- Growing my own food and living a sustainable lifestyle is on my bucket list. And while I don't think I'll go quite as far as Barbara and her family did in eating locally (I will not be raising and slaughtering my own turkeys!!), I did learn a lot from this book. It's already affected my buying habits (I've found a pick-your-own farm nearby which is great! And I'll continue to frequent our Saturday morning farmer's market until it closes for the summer). I'm also looking into creating a (very small) garden to grow some of my own vegetables (I already have tangerine and red grapefruit trees in the backyard and I love those ;o)).
