No worries - these things happen. It must be good to make you all get so carried away. Another one to add to the TBR then. :)

Oh - I know. It's cool, I appreciate it. The smiley was just prompted by the way Rea explained that the story wasn't really ruined by the spoilers. It was a relieved smiley :)

I liked Uglies, I never got round to finishing off the series but I thought it was a good book. :)

I FINALLY finished

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorites !!! Love this book ! :)

I FINALLY finished

Lots of people keep saying that to me! :)

I liked the first book but I found the second and third a little repetitive unfortunately.
I've been reading
and I started
yesterday as well for the Favourites challenge. It's a big book but I like the writing style - I don't think it's going too be heavy-going. :)

Really? Oh how frustrating. I hate it when a series gets repetitive.

Yeah, it was a bit disappointing as I thought there was a lot of potential, but the plot structures were very similar each time and Tally's character seemed to get weaker. :(

That sounds really disappointing. I liked Tally in the first book. The author did a fourth one didn't he?

I know. So did I. The author did do a fourth but it was more of a spin-off from different characters perspectives or something, so I decided to draw the line under the series with Specials as it concluded Tally's story (and I had found it so 'meh').

Aaah, that makes more sense. I normally finish a series but it doesn't sound like it's worth it. Especially as I seem to be tiring of YA at the moment. Sounds like a good plan. Book 4 was probably just a way to make more money.

Yep, I'd definitely advise borrowing them or getting them from the bargain bin or something if you ever do feel compelled to round out the series. Book 4 does sound like it was a money spinner.
That's what happened with the Hush, Hush series too. The story could have been wrapped up in Book 3 but the first 50% of it was just filler so they could drag it out and have a Book 4. It's so mercenary, it's annoying and I doubt I will buy the fourth now. :(

Okay. I'll do that then. It sounds like my kind of series finishing. (I love a book bargain!) So many are now and it sucks.
I heard about it on Twitter, I had a little rant about it. Lauren Kate did the same thing with Fallen and now there's a 5th book. I think it might be a companion but still, I'm not buying it.

Lol, a Char rant about it - excellent. ;)

Haha, well you know me and my rants. They've moved into my reviews now! ;)

i liked it, i liked how the characters changed, even if it wasn't for the better.....

I think I'll read

I felt emotionally drained after reading it, and not in a good way, more like a "why did I read this?" sort of way.

Hi Rose,
This isn't the topic to be posting your reviews for books. You should put it in our "reviews" topic which can be found in the "book blogs" section.

I remember reading that book - was okay, became annoyed at Scarlett tho', itdepends what you're expecting outta the book, some people really enjoy it :D

One of my friends is a fan of that book, she's very obsessed with it!
