Random Book List #342 (ends July 2) NEW!!!

I finished

Nice book, than can be read by people of any age.
It would probably get a bigger rating, but I liked first half much better than the second. I was not surprised when I read in 'Authors Note' at the end of the book that he wrote the second half a long time ago and then later added the first couple of chapters.

I finished City of Ashes (3/1) by Cassandra Clare for City of Fallen angels and am giving it 4*. I liked it more than first in series, don't know why - I still have some mixed feelings when it comes to this one. Perhaps it's because the characters grew on me more. Alec-Magnus connection keeps me wanting more and Jace is quite a great character, even though I don't like his mood swings and I'm still deciding what to think about Clary. :P But it was a quick read and an interesting one.

Goal: Read ONE book from the list within a four-week period. Post a brief commentary about the book you read.

And no, that won't be the only thing I'll read for this, I'm currently making my way through The Wednesday Wars and enjoy it so far

I had never read it before (that I remember) and it was a free download for my kindle. I agree with you, not my favorite. Not really sure I get why it's a classic. Just ok. 3*
Read it on 3/14.

I think we had the same reasons... never read it and it was free, so nothing to lose.

Not the best paranormal series out there, but I liked it enough to read the next part. I liked how feisty Cat is. :)

I read

Wrong list, maybe?

I think that Jen got a little mixed up. Those both book were on a list #67 that ended in the beginning of March...

I will probably try Crossed - although I hear it is not as good as Matched, which I really enjoyed.
I am also going to listen to A Wrinkle in Time with my daughter as we drive to Ottawa for her gymnastics competition.

I still want to read Wonder, if I get my hands on it before the end date of this challenge I'll be back to post it.
