Ditto on everything Yz said. :)
I managed to finish the next book in series the next day. A little bit paler than the first, but still entertaining enough that I will read the third one when it is published.

Great for everyone who likes YA dystopian novels, very well written, surprising plot that's not predictable at all. I'll definitely read more in this series

4.5 on 5 Stars

Everyone who loved The Hunger Games, you should read this too. And if you haven't read the Hunger Games either, you should read both trilogies.

I read After by Amy Efaw. This book was really intense! I didn't think I would enjoy this book but I ended up really liking it! This book is very similar to Room in that it starts AFTER the traumatic experience for the main character. This story starts the day after she dumped her baby in a trash can. It's very interesting to see how the main character examines the past year of her life and works through her denial and the consequences of her actions. Definately worth reading! Five Stars!!

Thanks for the review! This is one I have thought about reading, but wasn't sure. I think I will give it a try now.

Finished it yesterday. It's nice addition to the series, good world & character building and a lot of new characters. If you liked the previous Night Huntress books, you are going to like this one too.

good series - not great, I'm not a fangirl like some readers are. This was a good installation for the series and I'm looking forward to the HEA for everyone in the next book.

I read At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost and I only gave it 3 stars. I had a hard time getting into this one, it didn't really pick up for me until the last quarter of the book. I'm not sure how I feel about this series, but I'll keep at it.

I HIGHLY recommend

★★★★ COMPLETED 12/2
I enjoyed this book - it's definitely a chick lit book which has humor that I like! Especially with the pets in the house. A man who was framed for an attempted murder and drugs had to take the lady hostage in her own house - he cuffed her to the headboard and ate a Fancy Feast sandwich - hilarious :D
