Fangirl is very good, I really enjoyed it. Eleanor & Park is good as well, but darker than her others. I think Attachments is my favorite of hers.

and really liked it! I gave it 4 stars, I think these stories are really witty and funny. Sometimes the main character is a bit too goofy or sarcastic for a scene but I forgive her. She's not as serious as Charlaine Harris or Patricia Briggs but she's enjoyable!

on 10/8. I thought it was okay but not anything special.

today. I first pictured the guy as a stereotypical geek (almost like Mr. Howard Holowitz of The Big Bang Theory, minus the pick-up lines, who incidentally was also living with his mom), NOT this 
. I started to enjoy the book only after I've read 45% of it. I can't relate with most of the movies, TV shows and stars mentioned. They're from the 1990s (my grade school decade) and I haven't watched nor heard about almost all of them. Cultural difference might have also been a factor in my not getting some of the humor. Rated the book 4 stars.

I finished reading The Raven Boys last October 30. Though a bit slow in the pacing, I thought the story was quite well-written. I'm totally intrigued and would like to see where this story is going. 5 stars most especially for Stiefvater's beautiful prose.

Random Book List #156I finished Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale and gave it 5 stars! This was a really great sequel to the Austenland. This one was a murder mystery rather than a straight romance but I still really enjoyed it. I learned a little more about Jane Austen and her novels as well!

Finished The Other C-word yesterday. From its cover, I thought it would be all sex, no story but I picked anyway because of its high GR rating. It's a romantic comedy with lots of bonding with family and friends. The heroine's not so smart but the story's sweet. 5 stars.

and had to drop it from my normal 5 star rating for Ashley's books to just 4 stars because I found it really hard to like Mara.
Random Book List #161I read Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill and I enjoyed it a lot. I liked the main characters and the setting was interesting! Nice twist on the vampire theme! 4 stars!

Unfortunately, we are sticking to the same series rule here.
I just wanted to say that even though I tend to miss out on books for these random book lists, due to my own moodiness not coinciding with them, I just love and appreciate how much effort you put into making these lists, Yz. Someday I shall be in sync with the lists.

I loved all other characters too: his mom and Doris etc. And yes the ending is so cute and they are obviously perfect for eachother. :)
I heard that other Rainbow Rowell's books are also very good, so I will definitely read them...
