October - Pick It For Me Challenge!

I am a sag. November 23

Katherine, what's the birthday? If you don't want to tell, you can always make one up.

Tina- 11/21 Scorpio

You're welcome Jim! I remember the time when I only checked out the thread when I got invites (not anymore, LOL!)

Two HUGE thanks go out. First, D.G. gets a big thanks for sending the event invite. But the biggest thanks and my personal hero of the day is Debbie (Onyx) who gave me all the links to update the list. Granted i didn't actually test them to make sure they don't go to porn sites, but that would be entertaining too.

Hey Jennifer! You're welcome. This challenge is a blast.

lol, now why didn't I think of that :)

No 12/30 or 12/31 b-days out there?

Don't forget to check back! I'll post the final pairings with rules tomorrow night Sign-up will be closed at 10:00 PM EDT. (if you don't know the conversion I'll just say that it is 8:22 PM EDT as I am posting this now.)
I'm so excited. 25.5 hours to go!

I'm feeling the picking fever coming on!

September 14 - Virgo

That's an adorable Yorkie in your profile pic!

less than three hours and I'll close sign ups. Probably a half hour to finish putting everything together and then we are underway!

Now I have that theme running through my head...

A. Covet by J.R. Ward - I noticed you haven't read this yet and I gave it the five stars. Since you rated the BDB books highly, I believe that you will enjoy Covet also.
B. Lover Mine by J.R. Ward - You don't have many books on your TBR list and, of the ones you have, there were only two I had read, so I went with Lover Mine.
C. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - According to your shelves, you have not read this book yet, and I highly recommend it. It's technically a Young Adult novel, but I didn't feel that it was strictly YA when I read it. I enjoyed it a lot.
D. It Happened One Autumn by Lisa Kleypas - I have yet to actually read this myself and it appears that you haven't read it either, so I figured this would be a good choice. Particularly since you seem to enjoy other Lisa Kleypas books.
E. Maps of Hell by Paul Johnston - Until I read this, I'd never read anything like it. It was recommended to me by a friend and I highly recommend it, too. It deals very much with the occult and is slightly disturbing but very, very good.
F. Bargain with the Devil by F.J. Chase - This book is kind of like Maps of Hell above in that it was like nothing I'd ever read before. However, it was very good and I definitely recommend it.
The book I am most hoping you will read is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins :)
I hope there is something here you will read and enjoy,
Leah
