Yeah, just a bit. And they'll probably crank it out insanely fast and make a horrible movie.
That's what they're doing with this one though too! they only started filming a few months ago! They're doing these things super fast, it's hard to believe.
Well, keep in mind that there is very little time in between books. They'd have to do them back to back, to ensure the actors don't get too old.*is trying to be optimistic*
But the actors are at an age where it doesn't REALLY matter how long is in between as long as there isn't 5 years or so. :(
I'm with Rae. The amount of makeup they'll need to look the right age now won't be very different from what they'll need in two years.I thought they weren't even sure that they were going to do the whole series? Weren't they going to be deciding based on the success of the first?

Also, they're filming the arena scenes already? Thats how it looks, anyway. Peeta has no need to be muddy outside the arena.
But they are both to clean! Where is the blood!?!?! Oh please dont let this be a mushy romantic movie with no gore. There needs to be SOME blood.
The picture of Jennifer looks great, I am sure she will do an excellent job. Also, I don't know if I mentioned this, but Winter's Bone just came to Netflix if anyone has that and wants to see Jennifer's work.I should probably watch it.

I did not even begin to consider Cinna be Lenny Kravitz, but after looking at his Wiki picture, he seemed like a good fit.
I like Jennifer. I've mentioned before the pictures that I was completely sold on her after seeing Winter's Bone but seeing her in Katniss costume and everything made me think it was a match made in Heavan.

Yeah, the rest of the world should adopt the opinion. Because while I'm sure that Alex isn't a horrible actor, he's not right for the role.
I'm sure he's a fine actor (although I wasn't TOO convinced by the movie version of I Am Number Four), but he's definitely not right for the role, and he really needs to spread his movies out some more.

Yupp! It's a complete overload and while everyone may be wanting him because he's big right now, give it a year and have him calm down in his roles and he won't be nearly so popular.

None of them should get it. Dont they understand Finnick was older than Katniss & Peeta. All those actors are the same age as Jennifer and Josh. They need someone who looks remotely experiences and older.

Random thought, though someone may have already said it :P, how about Alexis Bledel for Johanna Mason? I mean they talk about how she won her games by portraying the innocent one which Bledel could totally do. And I would love to see her be the feisty Mason that we see in the second and third books.
Alexis would be pretty great. I've always loved her, she's a brilliant actress. :)
I'd like that :) That'd be quite fun. I was thinking Johanna from Tim Burton's Sweeny Todd for some reason. I forgot her name, but that's who comes to mind.

Alexis isn't insanely popular or super well-known (so not like Alex Pettyfer) but she's a good actress. She was Lena in the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants movies and was Rory on the ABC Family show Gilmore Girls.Milla......why does her name sound so familiar? (I'm too lazy to look it up.)

I remember I saw that back when it came out. I thought that the Katniss actress wasn't too bad, but some of the others were lame. :D
I liked both Katniss and Rue. and it was perfect. :) You couldn't tell that they were acting. ^_^

They did- its a dirty blonde. But no, Scarlettshea, i have to disagree that he's the WORST out there. They would've gotten someone better, but Josh is fairly decent.
Yeah, at least it's not Alex Pettyfer.
