Wow that's odd! That pizza guy is lucky! He would have been in trouble when the other customer complained about not receiving their dinner!!

That sounds much more sensible
Arrived in Surfers Paradise early afternoon and the weather is glorious! Hot in fact! Our accommodation is wonderful - I'll post some pics when I can but we are on the 6th floor overlooking the river with magnificent views all around:D

The weather is a lot warmer than last week! I was in Tshirt and shorts at times today! I've just waved at you in the general direction of the Gold Coast, Brenda!

We've been fans for years.
Our youngest daughter bought us the tickets and even bought a large diet coke and popcorn for us to share.
Didn't finish until almost 5pm so we went and had dinner after.
Did NO housework today so will be busy tomorrow - but I can live with that!

Glad you enjoyed it. Funny thing about housework, it always waits!

Sounds good to me Brenda! Enjoy some reading on the balcony as it's not cold :))

I'm a fan too. It sounds like a fun afternoon. Were there people dancing in the aisles like at his live shows?

Counting down:) It is featured in today's newspaper and the actor looks just like my mental image of Harry. Hubby says no, he thought Harry was fatter. Fatter????

Fatter????
Lol Phrynne, I think husbands have very different ideas about our what our mental images should look like! Take Jamie for instance (Outlander) not what my husband expected...but everything I expected, and then some! :p ...of course I said I thought he would be fatter!! ;)

Enjoy! Not too bad here today!

No - too many steps - but was clapping and singing :)
Love him too Sally! We saw him live a few years ago....unbelievably awesome!
No balcony Suzanne but great views and sunshine from the windows:)
Thanks Marianne - glad the weather has improved down south too:) (I'm in a singlet top and still hot;))

No need to skite. ;-)
Good to hear that your holiday is ticking all the right boxes, Brenda. Enjoy!

Hope it's not too nasty Marianne! There's a slight ripple on the water here, but a beautiful sunny day:)

I managed to bite my tongue last night - gave it a good chomp on the side - drew blood!! Don't ask - other than eating sweet and sour fish I can think of no reason why I did it!!! Very sore today - am eating my morning toast very, very carefully!

Sorry to hear Sally - it is incredibly painful when you do that:( I've also done it before!

Not going to happen I'm afraid - I can no more not talk than I can command myself to not breath!!!

Oww! That, and paper cuts, so tiny but so painful. I do believe the Vegemite suggestion works, I've heard it somewhere before.....

LOL! Are you a chatterbox Sally?? ;)

SO jealous!!! Is 21.7 here - didn't even drop below 20 overnight. Humidity is up again as well :(

13c here but there's a little nip in the air! Definitely much nicer than home though:) Hope it warms up a little down there for you all...

Oh me too, after our last summer, I am actually enjoying this winter! Must be getting old! :[

Yes I agree with you both - I'm dreading summer after what we endured last summer:(

So yeah I've been picking up a metric shedload of work.
They should put you on permanent if you're working that many hours:) Plenty of money to buy books though!!

This not putting staff on permanent is happening a lot throughout government departments (me included - School). It is so annoying. It means they can get rid of you quicker.

Unfortunately, yeah. My favourite library is getting an expansion next year, nearly twice the size, so they'll have a couple of PPT jobs for that. Gonna fling myself at it like nothing else so hopefully I come up with a permanent job out of that :/ I'm their favourite casual so hopefully that swings it for me :P

Yes :( It's so annoying with how that works with schools. Same problem here.
