Love the story about Bob and George Brenda.

The Mindfulness Colouring Book: Anti-Stress Art Therapy for Busy People by Emma Farrarons
It's a shame you can't turn some of the pages for a sneek peek inside.

I just saw you'd added this one to your TBR Jools:) I started mine the other day - boy it's time consuming and hard on the eyes;) It'll last me at least until I'm 150 years old, but I love it!

I haven't been here much the past day or so and just saw this.. Eerie.. I walked past my shelf an hour or so ago, glimpsed Tigerlily's Orchids, and thought to myself 'I should read that'..

Soup on rainy days when it's slightly cool is always comforting - enjoy, Marianne! And congratulations on your wedding anniversary - I didn't get around to commenting at the time!
And congratulations on yours as well, Phrynne - did you say yours was today?

I agree, Kiera - love the history of the royal families. Did you see there was a program on last night (part 1 of 3) on SBS about some of England's early queens? I was thinking about watching it, but then got caught up in my book!

Yes thanks Kathryn. My wedding anniversary is indeed today! More years than I want to count but they have certainly been good ones:)

Yum! I made some last week Marianne and shared some with my elderly neighbour, it was a big hit here and there! ;)
When we had all that recent rainy weather I made some Borscht and that was a hit too :p
How's your DH going Marianne, all good I hope?

A part of being in a team is pulling each other together Ashley, why don't you tell them how you feel? It might help ;)

Happy Anniversary Phrynne and your DH! ;)

Congratulations Phrynne and your DH!! Have a great day:)

Happy Anniversary Phrynne and your DH! I hope you're having a really excellent day!

It's coming along nicely. Having simmered the bones in the slow cooker for some hours, I have just completed the worst part of the preparation: separating meat from bones, fat, gristle etc. Now the pot liquor is in the fridge cooling so I can skim off a bit of fat for frying the onions. then I will put the rest of the liquor (minus the remaining fat) and the peas in the slow cooker until the peas are done, put it all through my super-duper blender and add the meat. That will be a few meals for us and a few lunches for Mum.

Weather forecast for Thirroul...Windy ;)

He's OK. I asked him just now, he said alive but tired. Off to the doc this arvo for a script.
I am very proud of our hospital, though. He was in, cardioverted and out again in under 3 & a half hours.

Tell him we are all thinking of him and wishing him well, home cooked pea soup will fix him up for sure!

Glad to hear all went well, and a good hospital story, too!
Good news folks, I have replaced my kettle; I can once again boil my water for tea the easy way :D

To tell the truth we had a perfectly normal day! Having just completed the perfect holiday we felt that was our just reward:) Also went out to dinner last night.
Is anyone else watching Poldark on the ABC on Sunday nights? They have chosen the perfect actors for Ross and Demelza and the Cornish scenery is beautiful.

Helloooooooo, cooeeee! No early birds or late birds?
Very quiet in here this morning...hope everyone's ok and just reading?!

Morning all! There is a strange, yellow object in the sky. The world is very bright today....
