I'm happy it's Friday - today has worn a little thin...! But I don't have the energy to be doing that - just watching him makes me tired!!

I'm going to see The Hundred Foot Journey tomorrow. I haven't read the book, The Hundred-Foot Journey, and had never even heard of it until I heard about the movie! However the trailer reminds me of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (which was a brilliant movie, but the book, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, was very ordinary), so that makes me a little reluctant to seek out the book in case it is not terribly good...

I want to watch 'The hundred foot journey' too - heard Helen Mirran being interviewed on the radio about it today. I also loved The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

I too am humming and having over whether I should read the book The Hundred-Foot Journey before I see the movie or not

I read about that one. It sounds interesting. I am going to see The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared next Wednesday. I have to go into the city to see it as it seems to be on limited release. But I loved the book and the trailer looks great.

I don't think it's being released here in Brisbane for a couple of weeks. Not sure whether to go and see it or not - I did enjoy the book, and the trailer looks like it might be well done... But I also want to go and see God's Not Dead which is on next weekend and it's only on for a short time, so if I go to The One Hundred Year Old Man, that will make 3 movies in 3 weeks!!...

I'll be interested to see what you think of it, Phrynne!

B the BookAddict (bthebookaddict) Quite a sight to see in my backyard yesterday. Two large crows very enthusiastically trying to fly off with Moses' big marrow bone!

Moses was out the back door in a shot; first bit of 'the old Moses' that I've seen since we lost Bella .

It appears to be only limited release. In Sydney it is showing at Dendy Cinemas but you may not have those in Adelaide.

It's still quite wet here Phrynne though I don't know if it's from the drizzle or the fog....it's still very white and soupy out there!

Nope. Sun shining here and dry as a bone. At least I will get the washing dry:)

message 13229: by Sally906 (new)

Sally906 | 90 comments Is very smoky here this morning. Was a cool night - got down to 18/19 - but as it is so dry and windy there has been some big grass fires around and the smoke all seemed to have got trapped overnight. It should clear soon once the wind picks up along with the temperatures. I have a load of washing on and am hoping it will clear before it is time to hang out.

Three movies in three weeks is a lot for me! I'm more of a three movies in six months (if not more) kind of person. Then again, if the One Hundred Year Old Man is only on at Dendy cinemas I probably won't be worrying about it. But it looks like it might be going to be on at Hoyts here in Brisbane...

I think your minimum is my forecast maximum! Was 0 this morning, and is now 11.9 apparently. Have mowed and am drinking coffee while watching two cats take turns chasing each other through the house.

Carolyn | 9871 comments Fog has finally blown off here (inner west Sydney) and the sun is out. I had to go grocery shopping this morning with my lights on it was so thick. Hubby's just left to go to the airport for a flight to Brazil so I hope he's not too delayed with all the disruption out there due to the fog.

Good to hear Moses is getting back to his old self Bette.Hope you're doing better too.

There was a loose paling and I think he pushed his nose through - he either got bitten or hurt himself on the fence itself. He's sore and sorry now though.

One reason would be so you can't on-sell it and make a huge profit, because you are paying nothing for it.

An uncorrected proof is pre-publication, the books the publishers send out for early reviews. They are marked as Uncorrected Proof and not for sale.

message 13248: by Sally906 (new)

Sally906 | 90 comments There also could be grammatical errors or the printing a bit off - so it wouldn't be fair to mention that in a review.
