And there it is Leonie!! It looks beautiful...and fresh...and "Alive"...and then you eat it lol!! :)
I had all of those growing in my herb garden this year (in summer) and they went to seed and now all the little baby ones are popping up in front of the box ...the gift that keeps giving :D

Have no idea why it's suddenly popped up now, but oh well! Yes, currently very yummy and very alive. We shall see how long I manage to keep it like that! We're good at herbs in our family. We currently have basil, many chillies, pineapple sage, parsley, chives and hopefully coriander if the seeds pop up properly.
I love using fresh herbs. They taste so yummy!

It's a great idea, a friend gave Mum one, and all was well until my aunt, who was making Mum lunch, decided to pick the leaves from the middle of the plants instead of the outer leaves, instantly killing those plants she picked!!

I must remember that tip... ;)

Yum...you have a nice selection there Leonie. I like to pick a bunch of mixed herbs at this time of the year and chop them up to mix into suet dumpling mix, roll into balls and cook on top of a nice casserole or hot pot...they soak up the meat juices as they cook and....YUM, doesn't get much nicer!

Oh dear, your aunt learnt the hard way :(

What a wonderful idea. Not the condemning it to death part. :)

We love a good stew/casserole and dumplings. If you pop it in the oven, the tops of the dumplings get nice and crunchy! And if you do it with golden syrup dumplings it's even nicer :)

You're making my mouth water now :P ..my mum used to make hot stewed apples with dumplings and serve with ice cream...ahhhhhh memories :)

That sounds delicious - I might have to try that shortly. Perhaps during uni break when the kids will be home.

Oh but what a gorgeous handicap. I must get another cat - mine has been gone for more than a year now so I think I am about ready and your picture reminds me of what I am missing!

He's been very comfy. And this is the look I get when I try to use the computer.

I always feel lost without a furry friend, Phrynne.

I think so, Michael. His name is Nosey, and he has recently developed an obsession with running water. So much so that we have to elbow him out of the way to clean our teeth.

You might say that it's quite descriptive, Sharon :)

An adorable handicap. :)

Cats seem to have real fascination for running water, don't they? We had a cat that used to sit on the vanity and swipe at the running water. :)

Many happy returns, Brenda!! Hope you have a wonderful day and are made to feel very special!

No character chasing Bette, but he occasionally grabs my over mobile hands with a paw so that I stop typing and he can get properly comfortable :) Because, apparently, I am but a platform for his rest, and not actually meant to be doing anything but that.

Leonie, dogs have masters, cats have staff! :)

...and if possible, could we have a full Review later please? ;D
Unbelievable! But one for the cats! This one is totally amazing...
