Sally906 | 89 comments That's good John - kiddies certainly need a lot of that.

Liam || Books 'n Beards (madbird) In general I don't think many people I went to school with stuck it out at uni. 2008 wasn't a fantastic year of graduates apparently.

Well, if it's any consolation, it's better you're having them now than a year down the track. Or worse, three years...

Thank you, all. I think suicide has touched most people’s lives indirectly if not directly.

Whoo-hoo, another quilter. Are you hand or machine sewing?

I will be posting a photo of my latest quilt on AR sooon. Before I found GR, I could make probably 7 quilts a year - last year after GR, 4 quilts:<

Liam || Books 'n Beards (madbird) Getting some new parts for my computer which should hopefully keep it up-to-date for the next couple of years. Installing will be interesting.

Margaret, I think the key is to relax. When you're tense, your muscles tense and steering will never come easily; relax arm and hand muscles, look ahead at the road not down at the road in front of your car bonnet. See, you can do it:)

True, two of my sisters have blocked her because she posts anti-abortion rants on their pages. It's about to happen with me after she replies to my comments on Facebook today. You know, I'm a vegetarian but I don't post my views against halal killing on my friend's pages.

Terry Schiavo; brain dead, kept alive by tubes. Right-to-lifers campaigned against her being taken off breathing machine:(

No flooding last week - we are/were in drought! The Newcastle Show kicks off/has kicked off today too! It seems like there is rain for every show, so we should have guessed! They're saying the weather event is similar to the Pasha Bulka storm in June 2007 - I hope not!

If you really hate it defer Jess, sit back and think about it because all your doing is creating a bill for yourself. This happened to my niece nearly 4 years ago, her Dad wanted her to continue. She came to me in tears, so upset because the course she had chosen was just not what she thought. She deferred and now is in her last year and very happy that she changed courses. Your decision, your life, your career.
