Me and a couple of mates are seeing Alan Davies at the Entertainment Center in March. Very excited.

Yes he most certainly was extremely lucky! After speaking to various family members in various states this afternoon, everyone is of the same opinion!

The dad of a friend of mine from primary school and his brother have just gone missing off the coast of Kangaroo Island this last week. Pretty scary time.

https://www.ruokday.com

This is a sad but timely moment to urge everyone of you, everyday, to ask friends if they are OK and be willing to help if they're not.

If you are not ok then don't be afraid to ask for help.

You know when "Parade's End" was on free to air
TV my husband was desperate to see it but the
times were changed so often I think he managed
to see an hour altogether, he was really disappointed
but he thought what else could you expect from
the major networks. He is still keen to see it.

Seeing it on the news last night it sounds as
though she suffered from depression for many years.
It is very sad, I thought it was quite sad also
to see Richard Wilkin's very genuine grief. It
seemed to make it very real.

It's a tragedy, and to lose someone as special as your Mum at a young age would make it terribly difficult to cope - the question of why would haunt you and you siblings, and probably still does...take care Vicki:) **hugs**

The talking about Charlotte this morning and the fact that she was on the panel on Friday morning, and no-one could see her struggling; she seemed upbeat and vibrant on the show...it's terribly sad.

That's the problem and why it comes as such a shock. We don't often see it coming.

With Mum, Dad had planned a special celebration for the day -- it was their 25th wedding anniversary. The 25 red roses he bought her went on her coffin. No one saw it coming.

My thoughts are with you and your family as well, Vicki, and with anyone struggling with mental illness and with anyone who knows, loves or cares for someone with a mental illness.

Lovely to hear you spent a nice time with family, Dale. I think I'm about to finish Streets on a Map: Journey Through Changes - I've been enjoying reading it!

For those interested in signing the petition for the newly formed Charlotte's Law - Tougher Cyber Bullying Legislation - http://www.change.org/en-AU/petitions...

message 11193: by Sally906 (new)

Sally906 | 89 comments I have signed it too. When I was at school you knew who the bullies were and just avoided them or told a teacher and the parents were told. There were consequences. There seems to be no consequence now - the anonymity of the Internet gives them the venue and it also desensitizes them from realising they are doing real harm not virtual harm!
