You've done better than I have Michael - I've only read 20 or so, but I agree, it's an odd list.

I couldn't watch it Sharon. I'm totally amazing and inspired by their courage and strength, but I couldn't watch it!

I totally agree with you Elaine.

Fully understandable Brenda. It certainly was a hard interview to watch.

Yes she is Brenda. I only found out today from a friend who's going. I hadn't heard anything about it or perhaps I missed it as I do get emails from Ticketmaster. She's only doing one concert here in Melbourne on 25th March. Our seats are right in the back which normally I would hate but there were only a few left so I guess I'm just happy to be going. Her music is totally different to her Dad's but to see her in the flesh will be awesome!!!

Wow! So soon too...you will really enjoy it, and usually there are big screens on each side of the stage to look at as well. Enjoy Elaine!

Just for you, Elaine!

Wow Michael that is amazing! How much patience has the artist - and how incredible that the woman can stay motionless for so long!!

Thank you. I know I've seen it before Bette. Isn't it beautiful? Very moving and emotional. I don't think she'll do something like that at her concert but how amazing if she does. I won't be able to contain myself. I'll be a blubbering mess!!! That song gets me every time anyway but to have Lisa Marie sing it with her Dad that's really special.

That sure was amazing . I initially thought it was a parrot first up. You really need to look at it carefully to see what it really is."
It is awesome Michael. It definitely does look like a parrot and I would have argued black and blue that that's what it is. Couldn't see anything else until I looked at the link. Amazing!!!

When I look back, Michael, I think about all of the stuff I'd never have experienced if I hadn't lived and worked in a remote area. I know what it was like with eight camels and two people, with a vehicle and a dog, and I admire Robyn immensely to make such a trek alone in such a remote area. I know she did have some company on occasion, but in the end she travelled a very long way, all by herself.
Our trip was definitely an adventure, and there are all kinds of incidents and images that I still think about. I have some photos stashed away somewhere - there's a favourite one of camels on the beach at Cossack that I must pull out.
There's nothing like being in the Pilbara somewhere far from any light source in the middle of winter when it's freezing, and lying in your swag, looking up at that great expanse of star speckled sky. The Pilbara has such a special smell of spinifex and mulga and red dirt, and the inland air is so dry and crisp.
And now I'm feeling nostalgic and slightly homesick...
