Joanne (shuangs) | 128 comments Just edit my books collection for James Patterson on GR. It brings back lots of memories. My freshman year at uni, and how i follow each and every JP books like some fans following their super star. Its like back to the memory highway. Is that how some of you may feel after years seperation from what was then, your favourite series and favourite author books?

Joanne (shuangs) | 128 comments Guess is not the time to ponder on the pass.Time for me to grab some sleep as i have a rather tight dateline for tomorrow. Having writers block again. Suppose to write a short bio for a conference submition, end up on GR. :)

Binfinite is a good time. I just got the DLC, Burial at Sea, really need to reinstall it.

I've got a pretty top gaming PC (PC gamer master race), so probably not gonna get an XBone or a PS4.

Liam || Books 'n Beards (madbird) Ender's Game is apparently really disappointing. One of my favourite novels, so I'm quite sad.

I thought it was an excellent movie - really well done, and portraying emotion extremely well. We did a double feature on release night (18th Birthday party!) - The Hunger Games and then Catching Fire, which was well worth the effort and lack of sleep to do.

I am the Grim Reaper of gardens. Seriously. My Mum used to joke that when she died we should plan 2 funerals, one for her and one for her beloved garden and she was pretty much on the mark.

Somehow though, in spite of my ability to almost kill plastic plants, I have managed to keep alive two plants my Mum really loved, a money tree and an absolutely ugly cactus that blooms at night with the most stunningly beautiful white flowers. I've always been glad they stayed alive as Mum loved them both and it's nice to have a living memorial for her.

I changed my degree from business to event management and marketing - I think they will both be more useful skills to have in the future and the course is still online and only 12 months at a go at your own pace.

You need to find a strapping young neighbour to help you out...

I live in a flat and miss having a garden until I remember the maintenance. Mind you, even pot plants seem to die in my hands. Cacti included!!

I bet your garden looks gorgeous at this time of year though :) A little reading sanctuary

Did see "Catching Fire" last night and must agree it was awesome and definitely better than the first movie. I'm now reading Mockingjay so I can know what happens. I can't believe I didn't read it straight after I finished the second book!!! Clearly I got sidetracked. I do highly recommend the movie...it's very true to the book and works really well as a movie.

I read the book a while ago now but seeing the movie brought a lot of it back in great detail so that's why I think the movie was an accurate adaptation of the book. Seeing it on the big screen was a lot like I imagined it when I was reading it. I liked the first movie too and I didn't really think it strayed too much from the book...but then again maybe we have different expectations Laura. I think that's why I always prefer to read the book before I see the movie. A movie version can really spoil a book for good!! :)
