Liam || Books 'n Beards (madbird) I've got a photo somewhere of Tally when her and her litter were kittens, they would aaaaaaall squeeze into one potted plant together, usually with a couple of them buried beneath the rest. Animals cuddling makes the best pictures.

Bella and Moses are adorable, fancy cuddling like that! And your poor cat Bette! Still the fur will grow back, probably thicker than before!

message 10058: by Michele (new)

Michele I have been admiring everyone's pictures, I do miss having a pet, I am a cat person, but with us moving so much, a cat is probably not the best choice, so we were thinking of adopting a dog, unfortunately I found out the other day that there is no vet where we live, so that idea has been put on hold until the next move :(

A friend of mine posted this article on facebook the other day, pictures of animals and their mini-me offspring - some absolutely adorable pictures

Liam || Books 'n Beards (madbird) When I get home I'll have to post this one video I saw on Facebook a year or so ago, the most adorable animals ever.

Oh yes, there's absolutely no shortage of character there! He is an amazingly in your face cat.

And Bette - that is one slim leg. Cat's look so odd when they're "undressed" :)

Joanne (shuangs) | 128 comments Went to local Dymocks today for a browse. I'm surprise with the price for books. You can get new titles for like $25 or below with a nice hardback etc. I thought printed books are generally $32.95 or more, specially for new release... Is the publishing industry change in the last couple of years?

Joanne (shuangs) | 128 comments Anyone own a Kindle and an ipad at the same time? what is your experience with Kindle compare to ipad or other tabs. Saw Kindle Fire HD promo on David Jones for $159 today... Just wondering, what is the different from the Kindle app and the device itself.

message 10095: by Leonie (new)

Leonie (leonierogers) | 3569 comments I only own a Kindle, but prior to getting it, I used to read eBooks on my iPhone. There were several differences, but the major one was the comfort (in terms of no eye pain) from reading on the Kindle. Add to that the ability to read in full sunlight and I was sold.

message 10096: by Vicki (new)

Vicki Tyley (vickityley) | 1732 comments I concur with what Leonie said. I have a Kindle but still read on my iPhone occasionally, like when I'm in a dentist's waiting room or a cafe on my own.

I haven't seen a Kindle Fire - does that use the same e-ink technology the standalone readers do?
