It is a lovely feeling :-) but he's a pretty awesome boy himself. I went to his school to watch a play, and in front of all his friends he came up, gave me a big hug...and asked when was I next taking him to the movies lol

Maggie Rumour of the month from my second hand book shop dealer….for Lee Child fans, apparently the first of his books is now being made into a movie…….and for some unknown reason, Tom Cruise has been chosen to play Jack Reacher!
I wish I could say April Fool now, but it apparently is true! Can't imagine it myself, does Jack Reacher jump on chairs?

I don't see it either, and I'm not sure why they are making book 9; One Shot

Tom Cruise would have to be the absolute WORST choice they could have made! What is he...5' tall, Reacher is 6'4"!!! What a joke!

message 5181: by [deleted user] (new)

Im pretty sure tom was picked way at the beginning of the year, I seem to remember there being huge out rage in the states, like death letters to the movie company

Wow! That's pretty serious!! But hey, he's a dumb choice!!

message 5183: by Sherri (new)

Sherri (fabledhattress) | 456 comments Tom Cruise is definitely not the Reacher type.... I think more of a Clint Eastwood kind of guy would do the trick

Sherri (fabledhattress) | 456 comments Its just ever since J read the first Reacher novel, I thought of Reacher as a younger Eastwood cuz of the self assiredness and his confident attitude

message 5186: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) I kind of pictured Jeremy Renner from The Hurt Locker when I read my first Reacher novel, but he's too short; only 5'10
