Maggie Hi all, the National Report Card on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention is currently being developed by the National Mental Health Commission.

The Commission is seeking input from all Australians on what information should be included in the Report Card to drive change,
and help improve the lives of people experiencing mental health issues or who are at risk of suicide, and the lives of their families and carers.

Your opinion will help to shape the first and future Report Cards.

The community survey is open for feedback from Saturday 28th of Apriluntil Tuesday 8th of May 2012 at www.mentalhealthcommission.gov.au/rep....

The survey is available in multiple languages. We encourage you to distribute this email widely throughout your networks.

The National Mental Health Commission looks forward to your support and interest in this important initiative. For more information please visitwww.mentalhealthcommission.gov.au.

PLEASE PLEASE can you take a few minutes (like about 5) to complete this online survey if you have any experience or knowledge of mental health? It needs to be completed by 8th May. AND forward it to any of your friends / family that may be able to help too. Thanks so much.

Maggie I attempted to do the survey but it timed me out within 1 or 2 minutes, on the second page, I will try again tomorrow. I know how important it is because I have a personal horror story about psychiatric wards and my son's partner suffers from bi-polar disorder.

Jessy (snuggleglooms) | 381 comments I am on a massive re-readathon I guess you could call it!! I dunno if its cause I am tired due to all the training I am doing at the moment therefore I don't feel overly adventurous or what but I am enjoying revisiting some stories that I really enjoyed first time round and I might even read some I didn't to get a second opinion. Has anyone else gone through periods of reading like this or am I loco?? lol you can say it if I am lol

No Jessy you're not loco at all. I think it's a good thing.

there are some books at home I would love to revisit. Some of my old Stephen King and Dean Koontz books but I have bought sooo many books in the past year - still unread - that I feel I need to get through them first (they are piling up):(

I had one of those moments once Jess and re-read every Tim Winton, it was great, like spending time with old friends, and I found myself liking books I hadn't liked on the first read. Congrats on the weight loss, that really is a lot!

this only happened like an hour ago so I'm still rather angry and feel like venting!

some lady ran up the back of my pretty new Oscar (my car) while I was stopped at and intersection, Oscar now has some horrible wounds and I have a huge headache.
I'm a car lover, and Oscar is my baby I'm so very upset that he is hurt and that someone hurt him

Danielle, did you have any luck the second time you tried the survery? I know you can access is via the BeyondBlue website - it's featured on their home page tight near the top.

And to anyone else who hasnt seen it before, please consider completing the National Survey on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention - only takes a few minutes and could help make a difference.

Hope you can get rid of the whiteants for good this time! Certainly don't want them travelling to the house:(
