Creature Challenge [ENDED]
Sandra wrote: "I like the look of this Awesomevegan. If I can fit it in I'll sign up."YAY :) I hope so. I think it shouldn't be too hard if you read a lot of PNR books anyway. I know I will have a challenge with some but thats the fun part, finding ones that work. Maybe people can even recommend books to each other. I hope you have fun if you join in.
I am glad I have some takers. :) As I said though, I got the inspiration from the PNR group. I don't recall them having all of the ones I have listed. I don't think there was a specific sea creature one... or little person one. I am not sure about the half-human/half animal one. Either way it was inspired by that challenge so I can't take full credit. I seen a few mermaid ones in the listopia for blue books. I can't remember what they were called though.
Here are some lists to help people out... also for my own benefit LOL!Sea Creatures

For your bonus category, this would work as the hero is a minotaur. I just read it recently, so I'll have to find something else.

Lots of nice lists! I can't wait for the reading to begin! Valorie... that is one SEXY satyr! :)I would have joined Shelly Rae for Linger... but I couldn't stand to wait! I finished it in 4 days. More like 3 1/2. I bought it at night time. It was really good.
I might be in, I have to see if I can find a book with a pint-sized main character or love interest. I found books with a character like that as a supporting character, but not as the main or love interest. :(
Laura Lulu wrote: "I might be in, I have to see if I can find a book with a pint-sized main character or love interest. I will probably be reading the Hobbit or The Fellowship of the Ring for that one. It isn't romance but it has been on my TBR list for years. I am sure others can help us create a listopia for pint sized characters?
That's the plan. :) I have a book to read where the main character is an elf, but I don't think she's little--but I won't know until I read it. :)
This Amazon list (for young readers) may or may not be interesting for those looking pint sized character books:http://www.amazon.com/Dwarfs-and-Othe...
I edit if I find more.
I also found:
which may be humorous and entertaining? Also
which sounds interesting. Maybe a good holiday read? Both of these are on Kindle. I don't know about print.
Bianca wrote: "I think Ill join this challenge, not on my own pc atm, so will post a list later."Post at any time you want or just post as you go. Challenge starts in August so you still have time to decide your first book. :)
I found one that sounds really good for ghost/spirit:
. I stumbled across it by accident from a list of recommended books after
.Here is the list if anyone is interested:

Great links! Steph created the new challenge help folder...and there's a space for links like these. It would be great if you could post them there, too... (hint hint :) )

I know, right! I love a book with a naked sexy man on the cover! All her books in the satyr series are like that. The stories are pretty sexy too!
I've had one of those for the longest time and haven't started it, but oh how I've enjoyed seeing the hottie on the cover. ;)
I've got the first one
in my challenge, but I put the covers up as I read - so this is just for all those hottie lovers who can't wait.

You were spying! And I couldn't think of anything witty to say...too busy wiping away the drool dribbling over my chin....
HOLY COW!!!!! please tell me I didn't miss the wind blowing.....((FINGERS CROSSED))definitely a 2 for 1 I agree

BONUS or ALTERNATE: Read one book with a character who is half human/half animal such as centaur, satyr, faun etc. This can be a main character or smaller character for this one.
If there are any questions please just ask.
Re-reads are okay.
They do not have to ALL be PNR/UF but MOST should be. The main focus of the challenge is the creatures.
You can post a list or post as you go and you can change your list at any time.
Cross challenging is a-ok :)
***EDIT***If you are having a particularly hard time with any category you can use supporting characters. Please try to make MOST of the categories the main character/love because it will make it interesting for people looking for reads in those categories, for example if someone LOVES mermaids or angels etc. :)
