hush hush sequel. i have an ARC. this book officially comes out october 19th.these are the next ones on my list. in no particular order.
I'm in the middle of Moning's Fever series (PNR fae races). It's not YA, but most of the YA I want to read is on a long wait list at the library right now.

I liked her toned down a little YA book.

It totally keeps you guessing and has lots of action, bad scary things/people, love/sexual tension and magic.

Thanks, it sounds good, it reminds a little of Blood and Chocolate and another series about Werecats by Rachel Vincent. I really like that series too. http://rachelvincent.com/shifters.htmHavw you heard of the Shifters series?
It is an awesome series.
I started with "Fallen" last night and also heard a lot good stuff about the Shifter series... is on my tbr.
I started Wings a day or two ago and so far....it is sadly a little too boring for me. I'm listening to the audiobook, so I think the narrator's voice has something to do with it, but still, the plot itself is lacking. There are interesting parts and some good scenes, but overall it's letting me down. I'm not THAT far into it yet though, so we'll see if it picks up! I'm hoping for that!

incarceron sequel. i h..."i liked the second book of this series better. the next one comes out next thursday so im pumped to read it. i like these books but not as much as vampire academy.
I need some advice which book should I start next Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) Ashes To Ashes (blood ties #3)
or The Laughing Corpse (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #2)
I canrt decide lol.
oh is this book good?? i keep seeing it as the bookstore but never know if i should get it or not.
Wait on Anita Blake...that series goes downhill the further you get into it.I'd say VA. Then if you really like vamps, try Morganville Vampires.
And Aiyanna, did you read all the Mortal Instruments books yet? I know that you've been posting on the threads, but if you haven't finished that series, you should do that one next, seriously!

Just didn't want anyone to NOT read it, because I had said it was boring. It started out that way, but it's really picking up! The plot is getting pretty interesting. The narrator's voice is still incredibly annoying, but that has nothing to do with the plot!!

Im going to start the 2nd VA book. I have read all the morganville books and I love that series!
I really liked Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz. VA is my favorite though. "Shifters" is another one of my favorites. It is about werecats.

Whats on my list for reading is
Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
I cant wait till Oct. When the 2nd one comes out!
Torment By Lauren Kate
I am not in such a rush to go on the 2nd book when it comes out in Sep. But its in my list.
Have any good books that i can add to my list? Right now I'm looking for like fallen angels kind of books.
Immortal by Gillian ShieldsBeautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
The Mortal Instruments
Kissed by An Angel trilogy by Elisabeth Chandler
These are some good ones!
Another YA vampire novel - Sunshine by Robin McKinley. She usually writes expanded fairytales or fantasy stuff.
It was before the Twilight craze! Shannon Hale does some great work too on expanded fairytales.
I love the Succubus Blues - Georgina Kincaid Series by Richelle Mead. If you like her try Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen series.
It is one of my all time favorites. The lead is half were/half vamp and she has a twin brother. It is a very kick butt series and all 8 books are out now. The Fever series is a new favorite by Karen Marie Moning.

If anyone here has an ereader or uses an ebook app, the first ebook of the Fever series (Darkfever) is free almost everywhere (Amazon, B&N and Sony last time I checked). Just a warning though - this is an adult series with sexual content, but thought I'd mention the "free-ness" since the previous poster listed the series.
Yes, all three are adult series. A lot of these authors cross over and do YA and adult series. I like them both!Of course the YA are a lot cleaner. LOL
Lili St. Crow also writes adult. I actually like her YA Strange Angels a little better. Her adult ones are really gritty. Thanks for pointing it out - I should have!
Here is one more plug for another great adult series...The Mercedes Thompson Series is a series of urban fantasy novels written by Patricia Briggs that follow the adventures of Mercedes (Mercy) Thompson, a Native American shapeshifter who was raised by Werewolves. The series is set in the Tri-Cities area of Washington state in an alternate world in which Werewolves and certain types of the fae have been forced to reveal themselves to the public. The series follows Mercy, a VW mechanic by trade, as she learns her true nature and is caught up in the affairs of the local werewolf pack, led by Adam, the Alpha who lives next door, and the local vampire seethe, a member of which she has befriended.
no its cool i have a discussion dedicated to PC Cast's "Goddess Summoning" series and that is an adult series
I read a mix of YA and adult, so I'm constantly taking suggestions from both, and I forget to mention adult content myself sometimes. I just figured it couldn't hurt to say that the series did have some sexual content. The Fever series is a good one though. :)
