And, what do you think about the series?

I started Hunger Games on Thursday and am nearly finished. I think this is great series. Can't wait to start with the two other books of the series.

I really liked City of Bones, but I'm not sure how I feel about Jace and the new development concerning him. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series, though.

Jace is Clary's brother at the end of City of Bones. I dunno if that changes later on in the series, and that's what's making me anxious. :/

message 108: by *Mrs. Brightside* (new)

*Mrs. Brightside* I'm reading Life As We Knew It (Last Survivors, #1) by Susan Beth Pfeffer very slowly for some reason

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) The diary style on that one threw me off a bit, although I generally enjoy post apocalyptic and dystopian style books. Is it the diary format or the story itself that you're having trouble getting into?

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) For YA, I'm re-reading Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant as part of a buddy read (we're doing the series, and I've only read the first book, so I'm just starting over).

For adult, I'm reading Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost and LOVING it. This is one of the better UF's that I've read in a while.

message 111: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (bexsi) I finished
Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead by Richelle Mead last night and it was just brilliant. Now I have started The Laughing Corpse (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #2) by Laurell K. Hamilton by Laurell K. Hamilton and I am enjoying that too.

I'm really falling for this book! it's dark but strangely beautiful.

You'll have to let us know how it turned out. I might have to check it out again.

message 120: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn (katl2e) @ Stacia - I just finished 'incarceron #1' and there are no words to describe it. It was awesome. If you liked it at the beginning, you'll definately love in the end =)

The scar thing doesn't bug me as much as Vanessa Hudgens playing Lindy. As long as they do something to make him look not as attractive, it can be fur and claws or it can be scars, whatever...

I really can't stand it when they cast roles in movies and the characters don't match up at all.
