Just finished City of Ashes..... tomorrow Im driving straight to Borders to get City of Glass!! Im completely in love with this series!

Pick up Clockwork Angel while you're there too, since the series are connected. You'll have fun reading that one because you'll find so many cross references.

Tose two are related? Man, I downloaded the whole series and I STILL haven't gotten around to reading it. Is Clockwork Angel before the series or after?

It's number 1 of the prequel series to Mortal Instruments, but I'd suggest reading it after City of Glass, even though Clare wrote both series to be interchangeable (meaning you can read either series first).

There is a reference in the epilogue of City of Glass to look out for including a character named Tessa. She's the main character in Clockwork Angel. Likewise, Magnus is in Clockwork Angel, as is Church the cat.

Totally agree with you. I really liked Twice Bitten and the ending leaves me waiting impatiently for book 4. I want Ethan to really regret the stupid choice he's made ;)

No, it's not bad! There were just a few minor things that irked me...you should definitely read book 2 and 3!

I know. Halfway to the Grave was one of the only books that I've given a 5 star rating to recently. Although book 1 of Chicagoland got a 4 star, and I read it right afterward, so it was good too.

I hated CVL #2, but I'm in the definite minority. Merit acted really immature and Ethan came across as really fake and cliched to me. But I really like CVL #3, it's getting to be really interesting since both the main characters have gotten their acts together, at least for the time being.

Oh, and CVL is nothing compared to the Night Huntress books, so I would definitely finish reading that series first and then start Friday Night Bites.
