I just read Les Mis...if you have the unabridged version, good luck finishing it! LOL...it went on FOREVER. But I just can't bring myself to get the abridged version of anything. I was so ready to be done with it after 2 months of nothing else.

Summerland, which is really strange and imaginative.
Tracy wrote: "Now reading To Kill a Mockingbird."I just reread that for the first time in ages and it's now somewhere in my top ten favorite novels. I liked it back when I was in high school but found that I appreciate it much more now in my thirties.
Thanks, Kathryn and Jason! I am really enjoying it so far. I think I am the only person who has never read it and I was feeling left out. :)
Tracy wrote: "Now reading To Kill a Mockingbird."It's a favorite of mine, as well.
I re-read it about a year, year-and-a-half ago, and I got much more joy and entertainment from it the second time around. I have a lot more respect for it, as well.
Going to start on Running with the Demon by Terry Brooks because just read it is going to be adapted by the people behind Game of Thrones for HBO coming out next year, and I just got it yesterday.
Dustin wrote: "Hi, Kevin!I enjoyed the series. I hope you do, too.:)"
Thanks, hopeful it will be good since the people behind Game of Thrones want to adapted it.

Becky wrote: "I just started reading The Haunting of Hill House... I'm only about 10 pages in, and so far I'm liking it, though it does remind me of Rose Red... (No doubt because RR was based on i, I'm guessing...."Rose Red to my knowledge wasn't based on The Haunting of Hill House but rather a supposedly real haunted house called the Winchester Mansion.
I just finished Ready Player One. I'm on a streak of great books. Hope it doesn't end. This morning I started The Bottoms.

Do yourself a favor, and don't put it off any longer! DO IT! haha

I haven't read IT in soooo many years. I need to do a re-read, just to see if it is as scary as I remember.

Just got done with Winterland and now onto Angel Time, The Drawing of the Three, Corridor, and Grim Reaper: End of Days.
I'm reading Under the Dome, but also started reading the sample of Rachel Abbott's Only the Innocent. Rachel self-published this and it's done extremely well, topping the Kindle best seller lists! I can see why from the sample, and think I'll be buying the full book soon to read on my iPad!

I'm reading "The Continental Op" (Dashiell Hammett) with the Pulp Fiction group. I'm listening to "The Reversal" (Connelly) in the car.

I'm currently reading The Terror Dream: Myth and Misogyny in an Insecure America which is fascinating. It also seems very current with all that's going on in the US today.
