What are you reading right now?

I find that difficult to do. I can read three or four books in a series back to back but after that I have to stop for a while.

Dismember"
That was a pretty good book. Enjoy.

That's pretty much what I'm doing. I'll read a 3-5 and then take a break and read some other author or something non-fiction before resuming. It's working out well so far. I've finished the first 20 :D

I do take breaks :D

Ahh the Joy Luck Club, I really need to pick that one back up! It was good.

I just read Foundation. What order did you read them? I'm having trouble figuring that out.

I am hooked also. I am more than halfway through the book and cannot put it down. I watched the series on HBO, but it does not put a damper on the book.

Yes, LOTS of surprises!
I'm so glad you're enjoying Thrones, Alondra.:)

Oh, Dani, I'm so sorry to hear that you had to have knee surgery...

At least you have something good (and LONG) to help you through it! Good luck on your recovery.
I'm reading

Gee, I wonder why you'd want to be done with those by Tuesday, the 24th!:) (TWTTK, right?)

Raven,I just finished with this one - I listened to the audio - It was very good - I enjoyed it.

LOL, I'm hoping to be done with 11/22/63 by then too!!
Thanks for the sentiments about my knee :) Lying around on the couch does have some advantages!

I'm hoping to be done with my book by Tuesday too. Though I wonder how long it will take my pre-ordered copy to actually arrive in hand. Hope I don't have too many days without a book at all.

:)
Odd, so many of us are hoping to be done reading our current books by Tuesday. It's almost like there is something coming out that day that we are all looking forward too. : )
Yeah, there must be SOMETHING!

Hi, Dani.:) You are very welcome. I would think that having knee surgery would be very painful.. you have my many sympathies. Please get well soon. Meanwhile, enjoy the heck out of 11/22/63, and that special "something" that everyone seems to be waiting for on Tuesday...

Currently I am reading "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and also "Everything's Eventual" by Stephen King. Also, a few other books, that have been put on the side burner.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about the Vampire Chronicles books... it would be impossible to convey everything into a two-hour movie. Anne Rice's writing is utterly beautiful (albeit sometimes a bit wordy,) full of so much professionalism, exquisiteness, and grace.

I loved Duma key, it was an awsome read!

That's awesome, Michelle, I really enjoyed Duma Key a lot!

Like you Dani, I, also, will be having surgery. May 2, for torn rotator cuff. Hence having recently checked out larger Stephen King novels from the public library, such as Duma King, Under The Dome and IT. Will have 4 - 6 weeks recovery time before I can use my arm for other things such as driving and cleaning the house. Looking forward to plenty of time to read. :)

Good to know...thanx! :) I expect I will, as well, where as I've heard lots of good things about it...After all, it is Stephen King :D lol

Yep.. when in doubt, always choose King!

I read about Forbidden a while back, but after reading the reviews, decided against it. How are you liking it?

That's pretty much what I'm doing. I'll read a 3-5 ..."
yep, same here.. As mentioned earlier, I started the year reading Stephen King books, read 6 bboks from the KEY News series by Mary Jane Clark, and now back to Stephen King...Duma Key, atm

Best Wishes for a speedy recovery, Dani! :)
