That sounds fair, thanks Tracy. I noticed some people keeping a tally for each book and it felt like cheating to count these ones just because the font is bigger. :)

I'm doing the Title Relay and I have a question about counting numerals and symbols used in titles. Here are some examples:
1st to Die
Wolf Tales IV
Claude & Camille: A Novel of Monet
I think each of the above titles would count as three words, since the symbol and numerals are used as a word. I'd like an official opinion though. Thanks.

Colleen - Good question - I believe that the examples you provided would represent Three word Titles since the numeral/symbol clearly are interpreted as a word.
i.e. 1st = First
IV = Four
& = and

Yzs said on an earlier post that you could choose on hyphenated titles, either just the words before or all.

Thanks for the quick response, Tracy.

I had to split my tracks up because the list was too long.
#88 is now my Track 1 and #146 is my Track 2.

Do I have to list page #'s? I haven't been doing that because I don't have any ..."
Mary - If you need to split into another post that's fine, please just make a statement on the *new* post that you are 'continuing list from post #X'.
In terms of listing page numbers - no you don't have to post number of pages - HOWEVER, the point structure is designed to give a BONUS 5 points to any book over 400 pages - the only way I'll know to award those points would be if you posted the page count.

Books on a the same track can not overlap dates. However, if you were reading two books for two different tracks at the same time that is fine.
for example:
Track One: read 8/15-8/16
Track Two: read 8/14-8/17
Is fine....
What will not work is:
Track One: read 8/15-8/16
Track One: read 8/14-8/17

- message #13: Track One
- message #152: Track Two
- messages #153 & #154: reserved for future use (yup, I'm verrry optimistic, LOL)

Thanks Dina!! I'll update my list. Good luck to you!

Andrea - I'm sorry to hear that, but I understand.
Please leave your orginial post (vs. deleting) otherwise it will throw off the numbering.

Thanks! I'll get that updated!

I'm fine with you move the entire second track to a new posting...no problems! In the end - it will be easier all the way around to keep a track in it's own post.
Thanks! Tracy
