I would like to see politicians look beyond their political parties and really discuss issues that concern the American people and vote how the people in their community want them to. I plan to vote for people who will listen to the people and not just their party leadership.

I love that my sister is a great gardener. Her has the prettiest flower garder in her neighborhood and is a master gardener.

This is the first time I've actually read this book, and I wasn't really looking forward to it. I must say I thoughouly enjoyed it!! I especially like Rikki Tikki Tavi. That was one of my favorite stories as a child, and even more enjoyable now.

B. Singer's Biography
I Am Ozzy by Ozzy Osbourne(5 stars)
One summer, while I was a teenager, I went to visit a new friend. She had older brothers, and they were playing Black Sabbath. I especially remember the song "Paranoid". It was the first time I'd ever heard heavy, dark music, and I was instantly drawn to it. To this day, I love bad boys, loud drums, and the feeling of freedom heavy metal conjures up in me.
Ozzy's book was a 5 star read for me, based on the stories alone.

I read 61 Hours by Lee Child (Which has a blue cover and whose main character, Jack Reacher is a retired Army MP)

The Apostle (Which has a white cover and whose main character, Scot Harvath, is an ex-Navy SEAL)

I know I'm a nerd, but I was excited that these two books fit the challenge no matter which way I listed them.

My review: Really, really enjoyable! Made me love Craigy Fergs even more. Hearing about his out of control years in Scotland, London and the U.S. from his POV was really enlightening and entertaining. He manages to inject a lot of humor with the harsh truth of his addiction problems. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys his late night tv show.

I re-read Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I don't re read a lot of books, but I fell in love with the characters in this story and could read this over and over.
This book is also 500+ pages

Do you feel lucky...are the dice on your side? For this task you will need to visit the website (3 Random Dice). The amount shown on the dice (+/- 10) will be the amount of pages that you will need to read for this task. I.E. if you rolled a 3,5,2 you would need to read a book between between 342 and 362 pages long (EXAMPLE: Son of a Witch (Wicked Years, #2)). You can only click on the link one time.
I rolled 332 and read American Adulterer by Jed Mercurio which is 336 pages

15.10 Other Things May Change Us: The Stepsister Scheme by Jim Hines.
I've been so luck with my family, both birth and by marriage. I think one reason is because we each have a sense of humor that enables us to smooth over some of the bumpy spots in life. While technically we have some "steps" in the extended family, we have a policy of the more the merrier. Family is family regardless of how you arrived here.
I've been tempted to buy and display the plaque that reads "Remember, as far as anyone knows we're a normal family."

The Hunger Games and posted a comment on the discussion site. My advice.... don't read this until you have time to complete it. I started it in May and had to return it to the library to keep from going over the half way mark before the challenge started.

I read Killing Floor by Lee CHILD and Still Life with Crows by Douglas Preston and Lincoln CHILD.
