What book are you currently reading? What are your thoughts on it? If you have recently finished a book, what did you think of it?

I'm currently reading Every Breath You Take by Judith McNaught. I have no opinion on the book yet considering I'm only a chapter in. I'll let you all know how I feel about it once I'm situated with the story.I just finished reading Paradise, also by Judith McNaught. It was an exciting read as well as an emotional rollercoaster ride in my opinion.

Charlaine Harris is addictive! I read 1 book a day from her Southern Vampire series.Currently I'm reading The Dragon Lady by Sterling Seagrave. I'm not usually a history or bio buff, but this book has just enough history to make it academic and yet sufficient personal detail on the last Empress of China to make it fascinating. Only 1/3 of the way through...

I'm reading Wings by Aprilynne Pike, The Map of True Places by Brunonia Barry and just started The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman.
I'm currently reading The Lost Duke of Wyndham by Julia Quinn. I am finally able to pick this book up. I've been meaning to read it for quite some time. Also, I'm thinking of starting Playing For Pizza by John Grisham. I haven't read any of his other works although I hear he is highly popular.
I'm reading The Lives of John Lennon by Albert Goldman.I'm a bit of a Beatles nerd and the whole thing is so interesting to me.

Hi everyone, i'm new to this group, but the description of the group just called to me. okay, maybe i better write this in another thread :)As for reading, I just finished reading Rant by Chuck Palahniuk.. Didn't like it at all. I was more and more confused the further along I got into the book. I was relieved when I finally finish it.
After that, I feel like reading something light, so I picked up The Ideal Wife by Mary Balough.
Both of this books was lent to me by a friend, so it didn't actually reduce the number of books that I bought and have not yet read LoL
Now Reading Defiance: The Bielski Partisans by Nechama Tec.Watched the movie and I seem to get drawn into WWII stories, fictional or non. Only bad thing is that a sad or depressing book can really change my mood...I get too wrapped up in it. Thats when I pick up a "lighter" read like Autobiography of a Fat Bride: True Tales of a Pretend Adulthood and laugh until I pee my pants. LOL
Jessica--- I have been looking for Autobiography of a Fat Bride: True Tales of a Pretend Adulthood for months. I may have to break down and order it from Amazon. I have heard it is hilarious.
I'm currently reading Until I Find You by John Irving. I'm only 50 pages in... I have about another 800 or so pages to go :)
