Lol. Nope, the challenge police are cool with it. The only time I've run into not being able to cross challenge is if one group is having 2 separate monthly challenges, and you can't cross challenge those two. But they'll mention it if you can't.

Yz & Mel run a bunch of challenges on the Romance Readers Reading Challenges board. Monthly, quarterly, seasonally & yearly ones. And they're great because you don't have to stick to one genre.

Also on that board, they have a section where you can have your own thread to keep track of your challenges. Here is mine, so you can see some of the different challenges out there. The challenge titles are clickable to take you to that page.
