MARTINA'S JUNE "READING WITH FRIENDS" PNR CHALLENGE UPDATE . . . 6/10 COMPLETE

Finished Tall, Dark & Hungry and thought it was pretty good. Very similar to the rest of the series, of course. It's lighter PNR. Our couple in this one is the last of the Argeneau brothers, Bastien, and Terri, the cousin of Kate (from the previous book) who has come to NYC to help plan Kate's wedding. Yes, the whole "best-man hooks up with maid-of-honor" is a little cliche, but I really enjoyed all the disasters that befall them in this one and how their relationship grows through this (rather than just how they lust after each other's body).

A really different take on shape shifters, their female leader (radiant), and those they battle - mages and daimons. Thanks for the recommendation (N.L.). I will be looking for more of this author.

I am ½ way through Lightening Thief and The Time Traveller’s Wife. About a 1/3 of the way through When the Bough Breaks.
Hive was not available through my library so I ordered it and it just arrived yesterday.
Unfortunately I leave tomorrow for a week. I am taking 2 books with me, but I think it will be after June 30th before I can finish this challenge.

Samantha, It wasn't bad. I actually liked "Ink Exchange" best in the series so far. Niall, Irial and Seth are my favorite characters in the series. It took me a while to get into this one, but I ended up liking Ani and Devlin's story.

I loved Ink Exchange like you it was my fav out of the series, wicked lovely was ok, and I didn't care too much for Fragile eternity. I think it has something to do with Seth, or what but I just didn't like it, and I don't like Donia either lol.

I've only managed to finish one and I think it was the first one. I'm super impressed by everyone that finishes!

Yeah I can get up to 7 or 8 but then something happens and I don't finish. then I am so envious and impressed by all who have finished. HA HA no being envious this month lol. I'm still impressed though, because some people finished before the 15th of the month and I am like Dayum.

Yeah I get like 7-9 done but don't finish for some reason

This is my first challenge...and I plan on completing the remaining 3 books so that I can finish. July may be a larger challenge for me though!

yeah for me it's school, kids, and liife in general or I get sucked into a series that's a must finish.
