Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I haven't heard that song before, but I probably will since I'm going to see them in concert in June as the opening act for Slipknot and Marilyn Manson. :)

TPBM would like to see a Star Wars movie or videogame where a Wookie is a Jedi Knight.

message 7802: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I haven't watched Star Wars ever.

TPBM has watched anime before.

message 7803: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I watched it a lot from middle school to my community college days. My all-time favorite series were Robotech, Dragon Ball Z, God Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, and Samurai Champloo. When I started going to college at Western Washington University in 2007, I pretty much stopped watching anime.

TPBM would watch an adult version of a Looney Tunes cartoon if it had a character named Drugs Bunny.

message 7804: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Hahaha!! Probably not, though I'd love to see the looney tunes started up again if they were faithful to the originals :)

TPBM loves the idea of vigilantes.

message 7805: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments Vigilante justice is how most of my stories' problems get solved, so yes, I love it a lot. I also have a strict rule about limiting police intervention in fantasy and sci-fi stories. If the cops can solve everything, then why have a main character?

TPBM laughed out loud when hearing Hulk Hogan use his penis size as testimony for his lawsuit against Gawker Video.

message 7806: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I hadn't heard that he'd done that, but your TPBM made me smile.

TPBM finds writing scenes of intimacy to be challenging.

message 7807: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Yes! I still can't figure out what constitutes 'chemistry' when two characters are supposed to be in love.

TPBM loves writing arguments and/or friendly banter :)

message 7808: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do!

TPBM likes the craft required on writing a strong short story.

message 7809: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Yes, though implementing it can be frustratingly difficult.

TPBM gets a feeling of elation when they discover they've made progress in any skill.

message 7810: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I used to. Now I recognize that my progress is to be neither elated as I learn, or depressed when I don't.

TPBM no longer sees issues as either black or white.

message 7811: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Yes and no... I know that people and practices are rarely, if ever, wholly evil or wholly good, but I do believe in good and evil as being both objective and absolute--if rarely personified :)

TPBM likes reading books with contrasting philosophies of life.

message 7812: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments It makes for an interesting read. Then again, it depends on how the story is brought forward.

TPBM plays an instrument.

message 7813: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments The piano and a little bit if violin.

TPBM appreciates that they're surrounded by many people of incredible artistic and musical talent.

message 7814: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I appreciate it a lot. It means I'm part of something I believe in.

TPBM once referred to a cute male kitty as a “stud muffin purr baby”.

message 7815: by Anne (last edited Mar 26, 2016 04:12PM) (new)

Anne (annefrn) | 916 comments No, but my friends & I have teasingly referred to a girlfriend's husband as her stud muffin (yes, in front of him - he loves it).

TPBM wears studs in their earlobes (or maybe elsewhere?)

message 7816: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments My ears are pierced, but I don't always wear anything in them.

TPBM isn't big on jewelry.

message 7817: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments I love staring at it and buying it, but wearing it gets uncomfortable pretty fast (though I'm a huge fan of clip-on earrings) :)

TPBM loves horseback riding.

message 7818: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I've never ridden on a horse, but it sounds cool!

TPBM admits that as much as they'd like to be the main character who saves the day, if life were a movie, they'd probably be the side character that keeps having to be rescued.

message 7819: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I admit it wholeheartedly. I hate loud noises, I hate heavy physical activity, and I'm extremely hotheaded.

TPBM wonders why stereotypical mobsters from the 1950’s have whiny high-pitched voices.

message 7820: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments "He's on the level, see, Mugsy?" Haha I've never actually wondered that, but it is a bit odd, isn't it?

TPBM enjoys watching the old black and white 'Thin Man' movies :)

message 7821: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I thoroughly enjoy the quick and witty banter that Loy and Powell give Nick and Nora.

TPBM enjoys Capra's screwball comedies.

message 7822: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I've never seen them.

TPBM is a scarf person.

message 7823: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I have a scarf, but I never wear it.

TPBM knows what superwholock is and likes at least one third of it.

message 7824: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Superwholock is epic! I haven't seen more than a couple episodes of Supernatural (a bit creepifying for my taste) but I love all the collective fanart :)

TPBM loves the show Firefly :)

message 7825: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Is there anyone who doesn't? I've watched the episodes and the movie at least five times each and it still cracks me up!

TPBM sometimes reads the author bio in a book and thinks, "Now everything makes sense!"

message 7826: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments That happened when I found out Brett Batttles (a spy thriller author) comes from a military family and CJ Box (author of the Joe Pickett saga) is a horse rancher from Wyoming.

TPBM has a hard time talking to his or her love interests.

message 7827: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Don't have any :)

TPBM enjoys teams of characters that represent dualities--one dark, one light, one ice, one fire and that sort of thing :)

message 7828: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, but I tend to like my dualities or opposites to be a bit more subtle.

TPBM likes the tension created when characters are not quite opposites.

message 7829: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments Familiarity breeds contempt, especially when those similar characters have to be around each other for long periods of time. As long as the tension gets settled, then I'm all for it.

TPBM is fascinated by the idea of “super groups” (music groups in which each of the members are already famous in different bands (examples include Saint Asonia, Hellyeah, Audio Slave, Killer Be Killed, etc.).

message 7830: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I can't say I've ever paid much attention to them. But they do sound a but interesting.

TPBM likes to keep their nails short.

message 7831: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Yes, but not too short.

TPBM was not born in America.

message 7832: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, technically I was, meaning North America, as in Canada of America, as opposed to The United States of America, etc.

TPBM loves to write book reviews.

message 7833: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I love it a lot. I always make it a point to leave an online review for any book I read, for better or worse. It usually takes me some time to get through a book, but it'll happen, trust me.

TPBM refers to the Easter Bunny as “The Easter Beaster”.

message 7834: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I've never heard of calling it that.

TPBM can cook/work with sharp objects just fine, but injures their self with something stupid.

message 7835: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Yep. That's me in a nutshell. Once at my old job I barely hurt my finger and yet I was bleeding all over the place in front of the customers, lol!

TPBM can still remember their first job fondly.

message 7836: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Still working my first job actually :) it's given me quite a few interesting stories so far, and I'm sure I'll remember it fondly.

TPBM is always interested by archer characters, even though there are so many of them.

message 7837: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments If you mean 'archery' characters, then yes, although I love Zen in the Art of Archery above all books of fiction! If you mean someone more arch, as in the arch villain's meaner step brother, than that is good too. But not as good as archery or Zen in the Art of
Archery
.

TPBM is meeting up with a friend today that they haven't seen in a relatively long time.

message 7838: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments Nope, I've been a bit of a hermit lately :)

And I meant characters who are good at archery (I thought they were called archers?)

TPBM enjoys puns.

message 7839: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Very much :)

TPBM likes to drink orange juice.

message 7840: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments I used to but since I've become a mild health nut I mostly avoid it now.

TPBM doesn't think deep-fried oreos sounds appetizing...

message 7841: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments There used to be a time when they did, but like you, CJ, I too have become health-conscious.

TPBM enjoys the work of Emma Watson (both as an actress and as a gender equality icon).

message 7842: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Who? I don't know why but I'm completely oblivious to the happenings world large or small.

TPBM is bursting with energy.

message 7843: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments *blinks at phone screen from a nest of blankets* energy? What's that?
Honestly though, I get on energy highs occasionally, but they're few and far between. Definitely fun, however :)

TPBM often runs errands or does chores after sunset.

message 7844: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Very often.

TPBM is a 'closed off' type of person?

message 7845: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Hmm I hope not. I try to be real as much as I can.

TPBM likes leftover food that's gotten cold from the fridge.

message 7846: by Grace (new)

Grace Crandall (gracecrandall) | 299 comments It's the best kind of food there is! :)

TPBM has recently learned how to use a new power tool.

message 7847: by Guy (last edited Mar 29, 2016 11:39PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Grace wrote: "Nope, I've been a bit of a hermit lately :)

TPBM enjoys puns."

The are. I was being a bit of a jerk and playing with the word and the English language's peculiarities. ;-)

Nope. I think the last power tool I learned to use was an electric eraser.

TPBM is puzzled at what an electric eraser is and why one would be invented.

message 7848: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments I'm scratching my head at that one too, Guy. You're not alone.

TPBM Googled his or her own name and found interesting results.

message 7849: by Anne (new)

Anne (annefrn) | 916 comments Boy, did I ever - it felt real creepy and just a bit invasive. But the pictures they claim are of me are much more attractive than the real thing! Thanks for motivating me to google myself. I'm seriously thinking of removing myself from facebook, linkdin, etc.

TPBM enjoys sharing personal information about themselves on social media.

message 7850: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10164 comments It depends on the information. If people want to know what kind of music I like, what books I read, what TV shows I watch, then I have no problem with that. If they want to know my most painful memories, too bad.

TPBM doesn’t talk about painful memories often because it brings him or her more pain instead of relief.
