Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Considering that today is one of my mentally exhaustive days, I'd have to agree with that sentiment. But I'll try...

TPBM enjoys having their shoulders squeezed when they need to be comforted.

message 8602: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments It depends on whose wife is doing it.

TPBM’s lawn mower is worn out.

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Not exactly. They love attention. I've had one cat sit on my book or play cards lol!

TPBM has a bad habit of being on their phone before bed.

message 8604: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I’d much rather converse in writing than by means of a phone. When I use a phone, it’s to order coffee and cheesecake or to call a plumber or an electrician.

TPBM likes beachcombing, particularly in late afternoons.

message 8605: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments (Obviously, TPBM has no interest in beachcombing.)

TPBM is ready for autumn and cooler weather.

message 8606: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I used to love the beach before the sand became too difficult for me to walk in. Plus, it gets in my shoes, so that's another turnoff. As far as autumn weather goes, as long as it's not pouring down rain, I'm ready for some cloudiness after a long summer of boiling heat.

TPBM loves using pink paper when wrapping presents.

message 8607: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I live in Washington State, so we're going to get snow, wind, and rain instead. Equally fun.

TPBM wears slippers indoors instead of shoes or going barefoot.

message 8608: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments That is 100% true.

TPBM is a lover of music.

message 8609: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Absolutely, I am. My favorite genres are heavy metal and new age, but I'll listen to pretty much anything that moves my soul. Recently, I've been buying various Final Fantasy soundtracks from iTunes. Not only are they nostalgic, but they stir my imagination for fantasy and sci-fi tropes.

TPBM is a fan of Jenna Moreci, whether it's because of her You Tube videos or her books.

message 8610: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments In the words of Pink Floyd...

"Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone home?"

Of course, I'd be remised if I didn't mention that this song was called "Comfortably Numb". That could be what we're feeling right now and if that's the case, you don't have to keep the thread going. I'm feeling it too.

message 8611: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments TPBM shows up for meetings only to find out no one else had been told about them.

message 8612: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments And yet another opportunity to revisit a book or the haiku thread in Weekly Short Stories Contest and Company!

TPBM is curious about why people are fascinated with the near death experiences of other people.

message 8613: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Yes but the topi. is quite interesting.

TPBM has a fear of vast oceanic places.

message 8614: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I probably would be if I was going down with the Titanic. Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle...

TPBM likes Three Days Grace.

message 8615: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Haven't listened to them pretty sure but might check them out!

TPBM likes the song "Epic" by Faith No More.

message 8616: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments (Update: Just checked out through Google one of Three Days Grace's songs. I've heard them before. They're not bad!)

message 8617: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Are you kidding me? "Epic" is an absolute classic! I'm not familiar with Faith No More's entire discography, but that is indeed a classic. I really love "Arabian Disco", though.

TPBM watches Legacy.com videos on You Tube to learn about famous people who died that week.

message 8618: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Yeah, those vids happen to pop up on my feed sometimes. It's a nice way to have people that are gone not be forgotten.

TPBM likes to release feelings through writing sometimes.
