TPBM
Back in the day, that was one of my favorite gaming consoles. I liked playing Tekken 4, Tekken Tag Tournament, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, and Kingdom Hearts (although Kingdom Hearts pissed me off because Riku kept flying around the arena and murdering my character before I had the chance to cast a healing spell).TPBM has a positive opinion about “The Count of Monte Cristo” by Alexandre Dumas.
Yes I do. It's a classic story I might want to read someday!TPBM loves discovering a book that is an underrated gem!
I'm starting to read more and more independently published books, so those definitely count as underrated since they don't have the corporate machine to back them.TPBM wants to write a short story or novel about an evil clown.
No. It's funny but I don't find clowns scary so they aren't interesting to me.TPBM has written a story that was different than the genre they usually did.
For the "Tremor" contest, my short story was in the comedy genre and I don't normally write those because all of my jokes are one-liners and Q&A.TPBM likes to come up with odd combinations for races and occupations when writing fantasy fiction (examples include gnome barbarians, orc thieves, troll bards, and ogre archers).
In a way. For an epic fantasy I hope to complete (at least the first book anyway) there is one person that has magic for a power and is kind of based on a hippie! lol.TPBM has an absolute favorite game by this group.
For me it's a tossup between 55th Page and Two-Sentence Horror Stories. I like the latter because the ones I write end up being a part of the Poison Tongue Tales series. I like 55th Page because it's a handy marketing technique for authors to have their works seen.TPBM has a positive opinion about “Dracula” by Bram Stoker.
Yes I do. It is amazing! Not to advertise but if you want to see my review of it it's on here, lol!TPBM understands the appeal or loves the Lord of the Rings (any media form: books, films, etcl).
I've seen all three movies. I've also seen the first two Hobbit movies. They're awesome! I'll have to watch the third Hobbit movie sometime soon.TPBM doesn’t care if a novel has head hopping since movies and TV shows do the same thing without criticism.
You've got to see the last one, probably the best (or second best) one of all! But then again I am a sucker for that movie and the last LOTR movie too, hehe!To answer your "TPBM" yes I think to a point I agree. A good show or movie will have little hooks to keep you watching!
TPBM likes The Walking Dead?
I don't watch a whole lot of TV, so I'm neutral on that one.TPBM has a character in his or her stories named Tucker.
You know what? I probably don't but I should because that's nice name.Speaking of that....
TPBM has seen the movie Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil.
No, I have not. What's it about?TPBM enjoys listening to hip-hop in different languages whether he or she understands the lyrics or not.
I'm sure I would like that though I don't think I have. And the movie is kind of like a horror spoof (almost like how Shaun of the Dead is what I would call a "zombie satire" well Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil makes fun of almost every horror trope) and I will leave it at that. It's more fun if you want to see it and you go in fresh! :)
TPBM has genuinely become frightened by horror movies.
I don't know if this qualifies as a horror movie (it should), but Pink Floyd the Wall used to scare the crap out of me as a kid because of the putty faced masks and violent animation sequences. I'm 32 and I'm over that now.TPBM owns at least one article of pink clothing and isn’t embarrassed about it.
It depends on how long I have to wait and what I have to do afterwards.TPBM enjoys the taste of cucumber water.
You know what? I never have done so but probably would enjoy it!TPBM calls going to a diner, a small chain restaurant, a nice pleasant place to eat out.
(Because TP above you definitely would! lol)
I've heard my mom say that about restaurants with a quiet atmosphere, but I myself have never said those words.TPBM agrees with the idea that creative fuel can come from anywhere regardless of how silly or dull it may seem on the surface.
That's never happened to me before. No idea is too big or too small as long as it means something to me when I write it.TPBM enjoyed the movie Moana.
Never seen it. And in some ways Guy I have done that. Plus sometimes a story idea for me is too big to fit into an entry with this contest too. ;)TPBM doesn't just love DC/Marvel comic books but has an interest for others as well!
As far as comic books and/or graphic novels go, my favorite ones would have to be Black Hole, the Preacher series, and Fun Home.TPBM enjoys writing stories with anthropomorphic animals as the main characters.
I mostly just look down and not say anything when I'm nervous.TPBM enjoys the show Adam Ruins Everything.
I've never watched it before, sounds like it could be interesting though...TPBM is in need of a vacation.
I've taken lots of vacations this year whether it was a Mexican cruise, a trip to New Orleans, or a getaway in Seaside, Oregon. I think I'm good for now.TPBM is hungry for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Hmm not at the moment no.TPBM is a little discouraged that they haven't gotten that far for their reading contest goal here on Goodreads.
I don't participate in that contest since I like to read at my own pace, slow or otherwise.TPBM enjoys watching Family Guy on TV.
I haven't watched the show on tv lately because I don't get to use it at my house. It just became a habit not to use the tv after a while. And the reading contest I always find a little I wouldn't say stressful but kind of that way, especially near the end the year. Though I admit I have cheated a few times before just to complete it lol (but I didn't do that last year... that I know of). :)
TPBM likes the Try Not To Laugh videos on YouTube or elsewhere (I'm guessing they are on other vid-sharing sites too).
If water includes bottles of Perrier and pitchers of unsweetened iced tea, then yes, that's a true statement for me.One of TPBM’s bad habits is peeling skin off the sides of his or her fingertips.
Maybe not a lot, but I've been to three different vacation spots last year: New Orleans, Mexico, and Oregon.TPBM likes Pit Bulls despite the undeserved negative reputation they have.
No-reading, no-writing, no-art in general, they all suck, especially when they happen for long periods of time.TPBM is his or her own worst critic.
Yep! If it was my choice I'd probably not show any of my works in progress. I'm that insecure about themTPBM hopes to find their dream book to read this year!
I already found that when I most recently finished reading "A Carlin Home Companion" by Kelly Carlin (George's daughter). Worth all five stars it earned!TPBM enjoyed watching the police drama The Shield when it was on TV in the 2000’s.
Not even close. I love my alone time. It's how I get my writing and reading done.TPBM likes to go to the library whenever the power goes out in his or her home.
Aside from the usual nostalgic music, no, not really.TPBM has parents and/or grandparents who frequently fall asleep in their chairs while watching TV.
