Top of my head...
Orianna Fallaci
Barbara Tuchman
Martha Gellhorn
Gloria Emerson
Jane Mayer (think she's more recent)
Here's a site I just googled"top 5 nazi zombies movies" (corrected the site)
http://www.zombiecommand.com/humour/t...
I haven't seen them and don't want too.
(the website pictures are a hoot)
Do I still get to keep my membership in this club?

Weell...I haven't actually read Fallaci, she just came to mind... :-) (But I have read the others.)
Also, Doris Kearns Goodwin...though mostly biographies IIRC.
A love story written by a fifteen year old girl where the main character is so under described that it could be anyone (or a pair of pants for that matter) and to offend everyone who seems to have some strongly held views on what a 'real' vampire is, her's sparkle in the daylight. Because looking like a fish out of water is supposed to show your a predator. I got two chapters in and was so underwhelmed that I stopped reading. Mikey B. wrote: "OK - what is Twilight?? I'm lost. These two writers have an academic slant, but are very well worth reading:
Sarah C. M. Paine
Eri Hotta
Tionne wrote: "The Call of Duty level where you kill Nazi Zombies was fun! :-)"There's also a level in Wolfenstein with Nazi zombies. The super pixelated grandfather of first person shooting games.

Leningrad: The Epic Siege of World War II, 1941-1944
The Rape of Nanking

Welcome Alan - We have a pretty good group here. Also, please be prepared to have your TBR list explode :)
Hi Happy & thanks. I am always on the look out for good books about WW2 radio, that . The Clandestine Radio Operators book, is OK, but lacking in details of the radios themselves.
