Victoria (closer2coma86) | 83 comments Gee Shannen, I can always count on you to add a new Robert Pattinson pic to your profile and make me drool!

message 102: by [deleted user] (new)

Absolutely, Victoria! I try to update it regularly. ;)

message 103: by Victoria (new)

Victoria (closer2coma86) | 83 comments Shannen, I greatly appreciate that!

message 104: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Shannen - I was thinking the same thing when I read that. I heart Po. Hey - two guys we agree on! p.s. What is with Robert's hair in that picture!

message 105: by [deleted user] (new)

What is with Rob's hair in EVERY picture?! It's always messy. I like his hair messy and his face stubbly. Haha!

message 106: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Sometimes his hair looks nice though. Have you seen him on the set of his new film with his hair slicked back in his old time clothes?

message 107: by [deleted user] (new)

Of course I have! He looks good there too.

message 108: by Heidi (new)

Heidi I figured! Now we need to figure out what actor should play Po in a movie.

message 109: by [deleted user] (new)

I keep picturing the guy in the Mummy movies but I know he is a little too old. A younger version of him.

message 110: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Brendan Fraiser?

message 111: by [deleted user] (new)

Heck no! Oded Fehr

message 112: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Ohhh - I could see that!

message 113: by [deleted user] (new)

He is totally who I am picturing when I read. Mmmmhhhmmmm...

message 114: by Chachic (new)

Chachic Shannen wrote: "I'm reading Graceling right now and have to add Po to my list of infatuations. Wow!"

Po's in my list too! But I think I like Brigan in Fire better.

message 115: by Chachic (new)

Chachic I have a new literary crush to add to my list! John from Going Too Far.

Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols

message 116: by Becca (new)

Becca | 1608 comments I just remembered a character that I'm totally infatuated with. West from Seaward. Even though he's only sixteen, I want more of him than just the one book he's the star in.

message 117: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I just did this in the other thread so let me just copy paste...

Jamie Fraser from Outlander
*If you have not read this series, I am on my knees begging. He is the epitome of my perfect man.

Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables
Ranger from Stephanie Plum
Eric Northman from Sookie Stackhouse
Ron Weasley from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and on.
Jacob from Twilight
Fang from Maximum Ride Boxed Set No 1
Sam from Shiver

Terry (Ter05 TwiMoms/ MundieMoms) (ter05) | 374 comments I agree totally, Wendy, about Jamie Fraser....but Outlander is hardly YA! LOL

Jace from The Mortal Instruments
Faolan from The Bridei Chronicles
Valek from Poison Study
Sam from Shiver/Linger
Ash from The Iron King
Damon from The Vampire Diaries (the books)

message 119: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) LOL!! No he's not, you're right. But neither is Eric Northman and he's on other people's lists so I thought I could slip it in there.

Terry (Ter05 TwiMoms/ MundieMoms) (ter05) | 374 comments I liked it. Jamie is in a class by himself anyway!

message 125: by Arphaxad (new)

Arphaxad | 335 comments So, I've already contributed, but I just had to add these two:
Adam and Samuel from Mercy Thompson: Moon Called! My favourite werewolves, hands down :)

message 126: by Lani (new)

Lani (crahfty) | 253 comments There's so many to list, so I'll try to make this brief. I second:

Marcus Flutie from the Jessica Darling series
Jericho Barrons from the Fever series
John After from Going Too Far

I'd also like to add:
Vishous from Lover Unbound (Not YA, but I like a man who knows what he wants)
Seth from Wicked Lovely(only in the first book, he doesn't really do it for me after that)
Jacob from North of Beautiful (He's just too sweet)

There's tons more guys I wouldn't mind snuggling up to, but these top my list.

message 127: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Lani Jacob from North of Beautiful is an excellent choice! I forgot about him!

message 128: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Jace - The Mortal Instruments
Nash - Soul Screamers
Alex - Perfect Chemistry
Patch - Hush Hush
Jesse - Mediator Series
Gale - Hunger Games
Shane - Morganville Vampires
Daniel - The Dark Divine

message 129: by Catherine (new)

Catherine (cattymccat) | 95 comments Hehehe... I've wanted to make a list like this for forever. Ok.

Jace from City of Bones
Edward from Twilight (I really love Jasper & Em & Carlisle too... And Charlie! And really I'm just in love with every character I think.)
Shane from Glass Houses
Ron from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Heath from Marked (I know, I know... Weird.)
Derek from The Summoning
Damen & Roman & Jude from Evermore (lol... I couldn't very well choose just one!)

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I'm not going to spend much time thinking about this...so off the top of my head

Peeta - Hunger Games
I think Lord Maccon might make the list even though I was very angry at him during Changeless. But somehow I think I could forgive him...
George - always love him from the Alanna series

Don't really know that I'm infatuated with anyone other than Peeta

message 131: by Heidi (new)

Heidi I love all these choices of Ron from HP!

message 132: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Ron got pretty yummy...

message 133: by Bri (last edited Sep 27, 2010 07:56PM) (new)

Bri (l3ri) | 1 comments New to the group! Yay!

Eric from Sookie Stackhouse series
Sam from Shiver
Kartik from Gemma Doyle Series
Jace from Mortal Instruments Series
Balthazar from Evernight Series
Derek from Darkest Powers Series And so NOT a YA, but I'm absolutely in love with John Matthew from the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series
:D

message 134: by Stephanie (last edited Sep 27, 2010 10:47PM) (new)

Stephanie Louise | 13 comments Jace Wayland from City of Bones-The Mortal Instruments series- is a high contender...
See who made runner up and what spot Edward Cullen finished at...

message 135: by [deleted user] (new)

Im reading Radiant Shadows (Wicked Lovely, #4) by Melissa Marr atm and i just had to add Devlin to the list /drool

message 136: by Lani (new)

Lani (crahfty) | 253 comments Louise-I forgot about Devlin! Definately crush worthy...

message 137: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Okay, so I thought Sam was great but I'm flipped over Cole in Linger, so I have to add him to my list.

Terry (Ter05 TwiMoms/ MundieMoms) (ter05) | 374 comments I probably would add Cole to my list too.

message 139: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Cole is much better than Sam in book two.

message 140: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) I'm surprised people are going for Sam at all :)

message 141: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I still like Sam alot, but yeah Cole is better (I feel like a traitor). There's just something about a smirk and a sardonic attitude that just makes me go all gooey.

Terry (Ter05 TwiMoms/ MundieMoms) (ter05) | 374 comments Sam is a different kind of book hero. He is for Grace - plain and simple. I almost feel guilty if I think of him in any other way. And that probably does not make sense. Shiver and Linger and an almost poetic love story between two people. And that probably sounds crazy since I don't feel guilty about falling in love with Jamie or Jace!

message 143: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I totally understand what you mean. Sam and Grace belong to each other. As the reader that was very clear from the beginning. And the truth is when I added him to my list it wasn't because I was madly in love with Sam, it was because I was crazy about Sam and GRACE. Their love is so healthy and intense.

Now Cole, I can really enjoy him for himself.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who really disliked Shiver.

message 145: by Traci (new)

Traci nope, Cassi I'm right there with you. I was so bored. Everyone else loves it though, and it kind of makes me want to give it a second chance. ...maybe someday. But definitely not any time soon.

Terry (Ter05 TwiMoms/ MundieMoms) (ter05) | 374 comments There isn't a book out there that some people did not dislike. Our brains just aren't wired the same way....that is not a bad thing.

Of course we tend to think those who do not love what we do are a little unbalanced. LOL

message 147: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I really liked it, but I'm liking Linger more.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments It was too slow and a bit too melodramatic for me. The romance was over the top and I wanted to smack half the characters. They seemed too ooey gooey considering what all was going on around them.

Glad someone else in this group didn't like it too.

message 149: by [deleted user] (last edited Sep 28, 2010 08:51AM) (new)

Wendy wrote: "I really liked it, but I'm liking Linger more."

I liked linger more. Sam is definatly NOT a person i could ever drool over though. He is to selfabsorbed in his own sadness.

message 150: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Yeah, he was. Though I think Cole is too, just in a more self-destructive way.
