How was Déjà dead Kasia? I have it in my TBR pile

It was a bit rough, you could tell it's her first book. Heavy on the forensics (which I liked), with some big vocab where small would suffice, and too much French: Reichs would plug in "Bonjour Monsieur ça va?" wherever she could, so the characters kept saying "Hi how are you?", "Very well thank you" all the time. Ugh. Oh and Temperance was way too involved in the whole shebang for a pathologist.

I know I make it sound bad, but actually I liked it a lot. I mean it's flawed big time, but the characters are solid, the dialogs funny, the mystery suspenseful, so I'm willing to forgive the small stuff. Actually I already read the 2nd book. Which means I'm hooked, I will keep on reading.

So thumbs up.
