Maybe you should learn to appreciate the family you have, because one day, they might be gone!" she snapped. To her embarrassment, tears formed in her eyes, and she turned her head to hide them from Akrisios.

Akrisios's eyes blazed."Idiot! You have no idea what he puts me through." He turned and ran after Lyra."Lyra!Wait!I'm sorry!"

Medea stood still as he rushed by her. "Good, he's gone," she said through her tears. The sobs had slipped out suddenly, and she couldn't stop them. She was furious at herself for allowing emotion to win out. She stumbled down the hall, but didn't get very far before she had to sit down. She put her hands against her face, trying to stop the tears.

Medea's sobs finally stopped, and she raised her head. The hallway was still empty. She wasn't sure if she wanted to see other people yet. But she was hungry, and it was getting dark. She stood shakily and started heading for the Great Hall, keeping her eyes on the floor.

Avery was further up in an empty hallway. He eventually stood up and took deep, steadying breaths. As he straightened his t-shirt his stomach growled. He shook his head and rubbed his eyes, walking until he met an intersection that lead to the Great Hall. He nearly bumped into someone and he apologized quickly. "Sorry." He looked up from the floor and his eyes found the Ravenclaw crest, then Medea's face. "Oh. Sorry. Hi, Medea."
