I need to read the 4th book in the Palmer series. I have heard she had a second series. I am trying to get my library to purchase her books. What is the first in the newer series?

Karen Chance's second series is the Dorina Basarab series--
And you have to read the 4th Cassie Palmer, Curse the Dawn--it's the best one!

I did that to a young lady who was looking at the BDB bookset. I just went up to her and said "excuse me, I dont mean to interupt but you HAVE TO buy that!" I think her husband was more thrown off by me then she was.

I have often wanted to do that when someone was looking at something amazing, but I just don't have the guts. I'm not big on talking to strangers...
I stop people all the time. I have to see what they are reading and if they are getting something horrible I tell them about it. LOL!! Speaking of the Sookie series, what is with the new covers?? I hate them!

I like the whimsical feel of the old covers--I think it gives them character.

YAY! Another one brought over to the Chance side! lolAlthough I loved
.... it's just not the saem as a Chance book. lolWell, I've had people casually ask me in the Science Fiction or Romance isles what is good and I'll walk them directly over to the Chance books and explain how it's my favorite and the first book syndrome and how they should read it. lol
I'll also see people looking at them sometimes and I immediately go over and gush about it.
I swear I should hired by B+N. I sell more books than their employees!
Wow, there are some great books on these lists! But I think, since it is almost half way through the month and I have a deadline looming I will wait to see what February's challenge might be.

SSHHHHHH, be very very quite, I'm going book shopping today!! I usually come home and put them on my bookshelf so my husband doesn't know, lol!!
Well I order books and say that I forgot I pre-ordered them and that's why they have arrived. Some are old books. Tee Hee!

At this rate, I don't think I'm going to finish all 10 this month. That's what I get for having too many challenges going at once LOL! But I sure am having fun trying! I really enjoyed On the Edge (I'm not surprised because I pretty much devoured Andrews' Kate Daniels series). I will definitely be following The Edge! The world building did seem a tad clumsy and confusing to me at times (hence the 4/5 rating), but I loved the character development.
