Alek looked at Sabrina to answer.

Sabrina had looked at Alek for the same reason and as the silence lingered Sabrina finally said, "Going to the dance together Friday." From the look her mother gave her, she knew they both knew that wasn't what she was asking, but Shirley let it slide and just nodded.
Alek shrugged, he wasn't sure what he had been expecting her to say, but he knew it wasn't that.
They ate their dinner in silence and once everyone was done, Shirley picked up their plates, refusing any offer of help.
After Sabrinas answer, and through most if the rest of his meal, Henry smirked because whatever Alek was to Sabrina, she hadn't called him her boyfriend.
"So, Henry, how long are you going to be here?" Alek asked.
"End of the summer. I got accepted to a university in the next city over, I'll be going there in the fall." Henry replied.
"And where are you staying?" Alek asked.
"Now that Susannahs leaving, Mrs. Summers offered me her room." Henry said.
Alek nodded. "That was nice of her."
Henry nodded in agreement. "That reminds me." Shirley said, peeking her head through the kitchen door. "Bina, show Henry where he'll be sleeping."
Sabrina nodded and stood." Follow me, Henry" she said.
Alek focused his attention to listening to them upstairs.
"That's your room." Sabrina said, pointing.Henry grinned. "Well thank you darlin'" he said.
"Don't call me that." Sabrina said.
"Well why not, honey?" Henry said. "What better way to win a girl over than a friendly pet name?"
"Being something other than an a**?" Sabrina said. "And nothing about you is nice."
"I'll grow on you," Henry replied, "Last I hear, you don't have a boyfriend," with that he headed into his room and Sabrina headed downstairs again.
Alek met her at the bottom of the stairs. "Are you ready to go?" He asked gently.
Sabrina nodded. "Yeah, let's go." she said.
"Alright, come on," Alek said, wrapping his arm around her waist.
As she walked out with Alek, Sabrina handed Susannah the box Henry had given her. "Burn it." she said.A small white flash of flames erupted from Susannahs Palm, and the box was reduced to a like if ashes and melted, twisted metal.
"Thank you," Sabrina said.
"Thank you for having me Ms. Summers," Alek said as they headed out."You ready to go too baby?" Jacob asked Susannah.
"Not a problem, dear, visit again." Mrs. Summers replied.Susannah nodded. "Yup." she said.
"Thank you, Shirley, for taking care of Susannah while I couldn't," Jacob said. "I will," Alek called from the door way."
"Not a problem," Shirley said giving them both a hug. "I'm glad to see you back on your feet, Jacob. Susanah spoke of you very fondly, and I hope we get to know each other better. Don't be strangers."
"Why don't you run up and grab your stuff," Jacob said to Susannah.
"Be right back." Susannah went upstairs to find Henry casually rifling through the drawers. "I haven't left yet," she said. Henry put his hands up in mock surrender. "Go ahead, princess." he said.
Susannah gathered her things, Henry's eyes boring into her back and sometimes lower.
"So what's the plan for you and Sabrina?" Jacob asked Shirley while they waited for Susannah.
"Well, right now the plan is finishing the summer out here, then heading home." Shirley said.As Susannah put the clothes she'd hung up in the closet into a bag, Henry came up behind her and a hand moved her hair away from her neck, his fingers brushing against her skin. "Back up," Susannah said.
Henry laughed softly from behind her and an arm slithered around her waist. "You're feisty. I like that."
"I'm married." Susannah said.
"Does it look like I care?" Henry asked, a hand slipping just under the hem of her shirt.
"Move your hand." Susannah said, her eyes flashing red.
"Or what?" Henry asked, moving his hand up further. "You'll scream? That'll only make this game more fun."
Susannah let her skin get hotter, until Henry hissed and pulled back. "What the hell?!" he said, his hand red.
Susannah grabbed her bag and ran down the stairs.
"You okay babe?" Jacob asked when he heard Susannah on the stairs.
"Fine. Bye Aunt Shirley." Susannah said, Not pausing in her dash out of the house.
"See you later Shirley," Jacob said, following Susannah out.
Susannah didn't stop running until she'd reached the end of the sidewalk.
"Susannah, what happened?" Jacob asked, catching up to her.
"He touched me," Susannah said, her voice shaking with both fear, and if the flames at the bottom of her hair were any indication, anger.

"Wait here," Jacob growled, pulling something out of Susannah's bag. He went back to the house. "Hey Shirley, Susannah asked me to grab something she left in her room!" He called, already half way up the stairs. He stormed into Susannah's old room, closing and locking the door behind him. He grabbed Henry and threw him up against the wall, his hand on his throat. "You've got some nerve!" He growled.
Henry grinned. "To what are you referring to?" he asked.
"Touch my wife, or her cousin, and I will tear you apart," Jacob hissed.
"it's a little late for warnings like that. she has such smooth skin, your wife." Henry said
Jacob tightened his grip on Henry's throat. "If you lay a hand on her again, you will lose it. I promise you that.
"You've made your point crystal clear." Henry replied.
Jacob dropped him and left. "Found it," he said, making his way down the stairs, the shirt he'd taken from Susannah's bag in hand.
"take care" Shirley said as he left.
Jacob left and lead Susannah down the street to wear he parked the bike when he came.
"I should have burned his hand more," Susannah mumbled as she got on the bike.
"Don't think about it anymore," Jacob said. "If he comes near you or Sabrina again I'll tear him apart.
Susannah sighed. "Ok," she said, but flames still flicked on and off the tips of her hair.
"Please don't burn this," Jacob said, handing her a helmet.
Susannah laughed. "I won't." she said, putting the helmet on.
Jacob pulled his helmet on and kickstarted the engines before peeling away from the curb and taking them home.
Susannah wrapped her arms around his waist as they drove."Hey Alek?" Sabrina asked as they drove.
"Yeah," Alek answered not taking his eyes off the road.
"...How should I have answered my mom's question? " Sabrina asked.
