"Fine," Alek sighed. "But I stay just outside the house every time you set foot in there; and if he ever even bumps into while reaching for the salt then I'm getting you out."

Alek sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Just be safe ok?"Late in the afternoon Carlisle came in with the discharge papers to send Jacob home.
"Good," Alek said. "I'd really hate for you to have to see me when I'm homicidal."
"Now what do you want to do?' Sabrina asked.
"I could introduce you to Lord of the Rings," Alek suggested.
"We'll probably just watch the first one today," Alek said. "They're three hours each, and that with out the extended scenes."
"How many are there?" Sabrina asked.
"Three, without all the prequels," Alek said.
"Prequels? How many of those?" Sabrina asked.
"Wow. I start getting restless after movies only an hour and a half long." Sabrina warned.
"Then I guess it's good we're not watching all three beginning to end," Alek said.
Sabrina nodded in agreement. "Well let's get to it, " she said. "Lets see if it's worth a the hype."
Alek smiled, and put on the movie.
Alek sat next to her and pulled her into his lap as the movie started.
Sabrina rested her head on his chest and turned her attention to the movie.
Alek bit the inside of his cheek to keep from quoting the entire movie.
Sabrina watched it quietly, thinking.
Alek rubbed her back while they watched.
About halfway through the movie, Sabrina shifted. A few minutes later, she stood and sat next to him instead. About half an hour later she stood and moved to sit on his other side.
Sabrina shook her head. "I'm going to watch it all the way through."
"Only like another hour," Alek said.
Fifteen minutes later Sabrina got up and sat on the floor between his legs.
Alek ran his fingers through her hair.
"That feels good." Sabrina commented.
With his hands in her hair, Sabrina was able to sit still long enough to finish the rest if the movie.
"So?" Alek asked as the credits rolled.
Alek shrugged and looked at the darkening sky outside.
"I need to stop by my house." Sabrina said.
Sabrina stood. "Do you still insist on coming?" she asked.
"I do," Alek said, getting is car keys from the table.
Alek drove to her house slowly, making the ride last longer than it needed to. Jacob had gone home and changed, and now was driving to Shirley's to get Susannah and her things and take her back home.
Sabrina looked at him across the glove compartment, and smiled at him fondly, amusement in her eyes.Susannah was finishing writing a paper before going to visit Jacob.
"What's with the look?" Alek asked, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye.Jacob pulled up and knocked.
"I just find it ironic that a guy who claimed to be no good for the longest is escorting me to my house to protect me from a guy who still claims he is." Sabrina said.Shirley answered the door.
"Hi Shirley," Jacob said, "I'm here to pick up Susannah."Alek rolled his eyes, turning onto her street.
Shirley nodded. "Susannah!" she called."Yeah?" Susannah asked, coming down the stairs. When she saw Jacob she smiled and ran at him, slowing down at the last minute and only hugging him lightly because she didn't want to hurt him.
Sabrina laughed.
Jacob hugged her tight, burrying his face in her shoulder. "You ready to go home baby?"Alek stopped to let Sabrina out. "I'll be right around the corner," he said. "If he's there and tries anything I'll be there in a instant; and if it comes to that, you won't be coming back."
"Don't worry so much." Sabrina said, getting out of the car.Susannah nodded. "Definately."
"Before you go, why don't we have dinner together?" Shirley said. "I'd like to get to know you better, Jacob, and Susannah, there's someone I'd like you to meet."
