No matter what anyone says, Rehv's book is best :D
I have a feeling that my favorite book is going to end up being John Matthew's! Just the small glimses that I am getting of him in Lover Enshrined are killing me!!! Hopefully there's more of him in Lover Avenged because I have no idea how I'm going to wait until April for his book to come out!
Ahrcadia wrote: "No matter what anyone says, Rehv's book is best :D"

Although I found the world building weak and disorganized at times, I really enjoyed the overall story of Personal Demons by Stacia Kane; I would've liked more details about the demon hierarchy, but I expect more to come as the series progresses. As much I love vampires and werewolves, it was a nice change to read about some other supernatural beings. The heroine's main love interest wasn't one of my favorites, but the author saw to it that there was great chemisty between them right from the start. I think that Personal Demons is an excellent beginning to a new series, and I'm looking forward to reading Demon Inside book 2.

I agree with Ahrcadia, Lover Avenged was a great book!!! Rev is a great character. Kelley Anne, LAV has alot of JM in it, but some parts, I just wanted to smack him. The ending is amazing and really makes you want Lover Mine ASAP.

I feel kinda bad that I've diverted away from the challenge, but I figure that I should be done with this book sometime this weekend than I can get back to it. Without saying anything that will spoil things for others, I am at the part where JM just burst into the office because he smelled blood, and found out something he really didn't want to know! lol, I just about died! What a great series!!!

Ender's Shadow is not my usual type of book but I picked it up from a library sale, and decided I should at least read it, before I get rid of it. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed it very much, and will be on the look out for the more popular Ender's Game.

I especially liked how long it was, since that gave Rehv and Ehlena more time to develop a realistic (at least, as far as PNR goes) relationship rather than meet, bang, and tie the knot like some books I've read.
I had the J.R. Ward books in my library for months and kept trying to find anything to read but them.. And then one day I ran out of other books, and fell in love with the series bought them all the next day and can't wait for the next book to come out. Loved them all, but totally agree I loved getting to know more about Rhev since he had been in just about every other book.

Rebecca wrote: I just finished reading Hunter moon last week Jaime, What did you think of it? It was good but not a book I would probably read over and over again. Something about the way she wrote the main character's thoughts iritated me. I dont know why. I am continuing with the series and I hope I dont loose interest because all the books are written like that.
3/9 readI'm really enjoying the Elemental Witch series by Anya Bast - simple world-building and lots of steamy hot sex, which I love, and enough of a plot to keep me interested including a different take on the origins of witches.

Ahrcadia - I agree! I really like how they are taking their time with the relationship development. Reading book after book of people falling in love and getting married/mated with-in about a week starts to get to be a bit much. Don't get me wrong, I love those books, but it's nice to have something different once in a while.
I could not believe that people did not like the book either. I always wanted to know more about him as I read the books. He was so dark and mysterious that I had to know about him. What is up with the Barb? She really went out of a limb with that!
Lynn wrote: "What is up with the Barb? She really went out of a limb with that!"I so wondered about that too! Is Ward trying to say symphaths are feline? The last book I read for the November challenge was Bengal's Heart in which the hero is part tiger and a barb "there" was one of his cat breed traits.

I bought it off ebay along with the second book of the series but I've seen a couple of copies of it at my local used bookstore for around $5.

Just finished Dark Lover yesterday and had to post.
I love that book soooooo much! And I have no idea why. I want to read it again, right now. I would have my whole month of december filled with just rereads of Dark Lover. Its good I can't change any of the books. =)
Anyway I just wanted to throw some BDB love out there.
edit: after posting this, I noticed the Kelley Anne is having the same difficulty. =)
I just ordered the first four from Amazon. Will have to devote January to BDB it looks like.
