Tara | 596 comments I'm off to bed but since I usually wake up in the middle of the night and read, I thought I'd save myself the trouble of doing it later, besides I don't want to waste a reading second updating!!

Gemma (bookmoodreviews) | 511 comments I think I may have to try and read two books at a time. :S or try to fly through Lover Avenged! I can't really take Lover Avenged to work with me because of the cover, so I might be able to get a different one started from the list.

♥Lynn ♥ | 519 comments I started at midnight. My first 2 books were smaller than I usually read. I am almost done with the second. My husband was up working on lesson plans, so I thought it was pretty early, but he actually stayed up late (that never happens!). So I kept reading. LOL!! I get up with my kids at 6 am and read for a couple hours before my little ones get up. I also work from midnight til 8am some days so I can read a lot that way as well.

Lynn- what did you think of Mona Lisa Awakening?

message 170: by ♥Lynn ♥ (new)

♥Lynn ♥ | 519 comments I always give my honest word of the books I read so I hope you don't get mad. I thought it was okay. It was def something different. They are not shifters of vamps, they are children of the moon. Whatever that really means. It was a little Anita Blake in the bedroom, but it is an easy read. I just finished the second. It is a little better than the first. I will end up reading the whole series, but I am a nerd like that. I can not just stop in a series.

Heather (sparkleyturtle) | 151 comments Valerie wrote: "Great challenge! Are there really people who do not have 15 books on their TBR pile? Craziness."

I think my trouble runs into having most of my TBR list being UF not PNR. So I don't think that really can go with this challenge.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) (ibookienookie) of course I would not get mad! there are plenty of books that other people rave about that I don't find all that great :-) it is all about personal taste. I have found that how I feel about a book depends on when and where I read it...and what I have been reading.

I hope the series gets better for you!

when I first started, i was recreating the entire post each time i updated my list. I soon figured out that if you go to your last post and click edit, copy and then paste that into the new comment box. then you can make the necessary updates to the post. You have probably figure out how to strike through, bold, underline...but if not, that can be found in the upper right, above the comment box and it says (some html is ok).

message 177: by Mel W (new)

Mel W (melw) | 411 comments Jaime, like Cherra says, just go to your last post and click edit, copy it and then paste it into a new comment and then make any changes. To make this easier for me I usually make a note of the message number of my last post and sometimes (when I remember!) the page number it appears on.

Hope that helps :)

message 178: by Jaime (new)

Jaime Thanks Cherra! I didnt even think about copy and paste. I think you just saved me a lot of wasted time!

LOL! Just hide the book for a bit! Lots of other books to read this month! Have you read the short story in On the Prowl yet? If not, you'll want to find a copy of it too. Honestly, when I first started reading Cry Wolf, i hadn't read the short story yet and I was a bit lost! It's basically the first part of the other book.

We'll see :)

message 188: by Kelley Anne (new)

Kelley Anne | 286 comments The only reason that the first book doesn't really tie in is because Julian isn't the same "race" as the rest of the main characters, but you'll still see him throughout the series. It's a great series! One of my fav's!

I did really like it. The one real complaint that I had with Graceling is that I felt like there was such a great buildup to "catch the bad guy" and then the conclusion of that story line was anti-climatic. I kinda felt that way about one of the story lines for this one too. I did like the ending to this book lots better than Graceling! Overall, I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next book. Rumor is though that it wont be out for over a year!
