I think I'm okay to stay the same. This summer is pretty low key for me so there is only 1 week that my reading will drop in August and last month I read 24.

Yes, please do. I was using the SS to see if my personal tracking of what needs to be posted was correct.
Of course! The Black Bird Oracle was the last one.I'm going to try to figure out how to get the title of the last book to show up next to the column for date last read on the Summary tab of the smart sheet because I'm also sometimes a bulk uploader so I know how hard it can be when things get hidden
Added a last book read column to the summary tab (watch out Lisa I'm going to be the spreadsheet queen soon LOL)https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
If there's any other information that would be helpful to know that I can try to populate please let me know!
Thank you, Amanda! I should have time to catch up with everything since it's the weekend and I don't have any plans (that I know of). Does anyone here have Passionflix, and if so, have you seen the first episode of The Black Dagger Brotherhood? I've been thinking of getting it for that series alone, but I wasn't sure if it was released to binge or if they were releasing one episode at a time.

Lately I’ve been averaging at about 15 books per month. So I can keep mine the same!
oops sorry, I just saw this - I wouldn't be able to adjust my reading committment though so obv I'll stay the sameThanks for picking up the slack Amanda, you're amazing!
You know what’s funny. I think I saw that exact question in the captains group. I’ll check later when I’m at my computer!
Amanda I still need some help - I'm sorry - my learning curve for new to me challenges is awful to start with but I'm still confused by that spreadsheet (sorry!).Okay, so I've read Red Dirt Heart 4 so I can use it for Australia, right?
I just need to enter it into the "BOOKS" tab on the SS and the rest will populate for me?

Hi Lucy, Welcome!
and this is the only team thread right? Is there a secret thread for planning or anything I'm missing?Should I just be listing all the books I'm reading on the Books tab, and if they end up fitting somewhere then at least they'll be there already?
Trio wrote: "Amanda I still need some help - I'm sorry - my learning curve for new to me challenges is awful to start with but I'm still confused by that spreadsheet (sorry!).Okay, so I've read Red Dirt Heart..."
Australia is an easy country so if it fits in mini 2 or 3 we're going to want to put it there, but yes everything on the books tab and the rest populates!
And yes upload every book you've read even if you don't fit it anywhere! We get points based on pages read too
okay I'll update all my books onto the planning SSfor the LIST about Books You Wish You Knew More About - I can take one for the team and grab something from this list from Mini 2 - can I "claim" that task though so nobody else wastes their time doing it at the same time?
Yes! For the list tasks I do not move stuff around unless it's one of the books that's on almost every listI did find 3 MM books on there (and probably more they just didn't fit with what I was looking for and then nap time was over so I lost my time)
The Magpie Lord
Camwolf
Captive
Shan, just a heads up our caps were not increased. I did make us a banked books tab on the spreadsheet so we can smartly move books around as needed since you and I are reading more than we expected

I've got a few books on the list that I've either enjoyed and would be happy to listen to this time around in audio, and/or they're not MM which is fine for me.
Can you "hold" that task for me and I'll do it? How are people handling that aspect of this challenge?
You can just put "Hold" on the book tabs with your name and the ref code while you find a book. People aren't really claiming without a book, but that task has been haunting us for so long nobody is going to care LOL
I've already bought three books and I've also got 3 credits I need to use before the 26th of June so I need to do some shopping!!!!I put in a book of short stories I've been meaning to read for ages and it did "claim" that spot for me - so it works!
Okay, I'll see what I can find from that other list - and I'll try to find something from a foreign land asap so I can help out.
Amanda wrote: "I think Foreign Lands is covered already :)"thank the lord!
I'll read a hundred books of short stories before I want to read one of those right now LOL - just so not in the mood
OH I thought you meant the foreign lands list lol. We are going to need from foreign lands throughout the entire challenge, but don't force yourself while you're not in the mood. There's plenty of other options
Amanda wrote: "I need everyone to check in if they need that number changed for month 2/3. Please be honest! If you think you're not going to hit your sign up number, we'd love to get a back up (or incr"So sorry for the delay in responding to this. We had a big storm in our area and have been without power all day! Anyway, to the point - my number is good. Updates incoming. :)
Yeghegnadzor has been knocked out of the odd clay pots by the Chipmunks of Chaos lobbing a new cheese from down-under through your window!
Bruny Island Cheese C2
Bruny Island Cheese C2 is an artisan cheese that originates on Bruny Island in Tasmania, Australia and it is a relatively young cheese as it was first produced in 2009.

C2 is known for its hard, uncooked, and unpressed curds, showcasing traditional cheesemaking methods. The cheese is aged for several months, allowing it to develop a dense and creamy texture with a rich, nutty flavour profile.
Note For this spell-it-out, you need to spell out the word TWO for 2.
i.e. your spell it out is Bruny Island Cheese CTwo

Hi Lucy!! Welcome :) Question: to make sure, I’m posting books in the books tab and the banked book if it doesn’t work for a challenge?
Also I believe court of mist and fury should work for character that goes to a musical. According to google they “attend a performance in Velaris”.. but not sure if that’ll work. I’ll try to finish today/tomorrow :)
I have a book for “road” in title, but wouldn’t be able to get around to finish until Tuesday/wednesday (if no one ends up finding one that works for it)
I sat in my library (aka our office / guest / room where all my books live) for 20 minutes last night opening books and could not find a single one that started with ONE! Why is that one so tough
I've been looking everywhere too! Here's some the captains group has found for "One":Broadchurch
Julie Chan Is Dead
Sold
The Metamorphosis
Tahira in Bloom
The Sea Eternal
New task for mini 2:Read a book where two people with different religions interact
We are already on task 71/100 though so we might want to prioritize Mini 1 and/or 3 if your book works for both!
And after I get everything updated on the sheets I'll do cheese and let everyone know where we're at :)

Rebecca wrote: "I sat in my library (aka our office / guest / room where all my books live) for 20 minutes last night opening books and could not find a single one that started with ONE! okay Amanda, I've entered all the books I've read so far since the start of the challenge into the SS. I totally forgot another Australia book if we need it, I've put in the location.I'm assuming if the book takes place in the US, you don't need us to enter the state or anything? Otherwise I've added all the other details.
Also, that's 22 books for me - I'm allowed 17. Is that 17 for May, and 17 again for June? Thanks so much for all your help!!!
Trio wrote: "okay Amanda, I've entered all the books I've read so far since the start of the challenge into the SS. I totally forgot another Australia book if we need it, I've put in the location.I'm assuming..."
We can only do each country twice on mini 1 for the whole challenge so if it can fit anywhere else, we will probably move it.
And yeah, just United States is fine!
So the rounds are mid month. It's 17 for the start until June 17 so you are over and we will be strategic about what we use! If you could put any books up to June 17 on the "banked books" tab I'd appreciate it!!
Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days! I had my brother and my birthday so it was really busy! But I finished reading Sunrise on the Reaping Highly recommend to read sometime if you like the Hunger Games
