I don't know if it was the best book I read this year, but the most memorable book I have read so far this year, hands down, is Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke.
From Blood and Ash, a vampire/werewolf sort of fantasy retelling with romance. Felt like old world Underworld. Good dash of spice. Also enjoyed We Hunt the Flame by Hasfah Faizal, albeit it had a slow spot or two. Those are my top two this year.

Wow this is a tough one, I feel like I’ve read so much this year! I’d say my favorite was Song of Achilles. It was the most breathtaking breath of fresh air I needed this summer. I read it in the mountains over summer and it set the mood perfectly 💙
I didn't get much reading done this year with two kids one 3 and other just turned one but I fell in love with Twisted Games.
One of the best reads this year for me was The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren
If I See You Again Tomorrow by Robbie Couch
I'd have to say Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. It's not for everyone, but it's a phenomenal book and one of my all-time favorites.
Fable and Devine Rivals literally changed me as a person
My favorite book from this year would have to Fourth Wing or the ACOTAR series. I love both of these so much and I have a very hard time choosing🫶🏻💜
Probably The Lotus Empire by Tasha Suri unless it's The Misfit Caravan by K.D. Edwards.
