ADELAIDE CROWS: Serious away issues.
BRISBANE LIONS: Put foot down.
CARLTON: Finals look distant.
COLLINGWOOD: Two byes next.
ESSENDON: Drought finally over!
FREMANTLE: Yeah, they’re back.
GEELONG: Midfield the problem.
GOLD COAST SUNS: Just slipped away.
GWS GIANTS: Gave another scare.
HAWTHORN: They’re NOT tanking.
MELBOURNE: Clarry (Clayton Oliver) injury hurts.
NORTH MELBOURNE: Harsh but fair.
PORT ADELAIDE: Close game kings.
RICHMOND: Costly late mistakes.
ST KILDA: Hope Mitch’s (Mitchito Owens) OK.
SYDNEY SWANS: Dodged a bullet.

St Kilda Saints
Melbourne Demons
Geelong Cats
Western Bulldogs
Essendon Bombers
Richmond Tigers
Collingwood Magpies
Brisbane Lions

Sorry about Eagles Sussex . Like the Swans have injuries but that was only Hawthorn who are in turmoil. Cannot believe they lost by so many but perhaps it was the cold weather in Tassie that did for them.
Still getting over the Swans miracle from Saturday when dead and buried and after replying with 2 quick goals not looking like a last goal until the fates intervened.

Swans by 10
Saints
Demons
Cats
Bulldogs
Bombers
Port
Magpies
Lions

Blues x 13 (Swans' defence plagued by injuries and Carlton must be feeling the critics' pressure)
Saints (would love to see the Hawks get up but playing safe)
Dees (Hunter and Oliver out for the Dees but Sparrow and Harmes in - what depth!)
Cats (big names out injured but the cats are usually strong on their home turf - GWS without Kelly, Haynes and Himmelberg)
Dogs (anything can happen in Darwin)
Dons (they have to take advantage of the weaker teams because they aren't likely to beat the top 8)
Port (Tigers have the new coach which nearly always means a win but Port look mighty this year)
Pies (hope North give it a red hot go - they came so close last week - but the Pies are something else!)
Lions (Adelaide in Adelaide would nearly always mean a win but Gardiner and Rich come back for the Lions)

Sydney Swans (Anita) v Carlton Blues (available)

Poor kicking (again) by the Blues, they just couldn't match it with the Swans. Anita's tip of the Swans by 26 points was spot on so she wins another $7.00 for The Mirabel Foundation. Well done!

I watched late last night when got home from going to see Jason Donovan in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. He was really good. Cannot believe it is the 50th anniversary production.

ROUND 12

Adelaide Crows

Essendon Bombers

Melbourne Demons (on hiatus) v Carlton Blues (available)
3.3.21 (Q1) 1.2.8
5.6.36 (Q2) 2.5.17
7.11.53 (Q3) 5.6.36
8.13.61 (Q4) 6.8.44
I tuned in and out of the game and it seemed pretty lack-lustre. Melbourne couldn't kick straight and Carlton couldn't capitalise on their chances. But we have three tipsters who all came within 2 points of the final margin - Anita, David and Steve win A$7.00 each for The Mirabel Foundation, The Song Room and Backpack Bed For Homeless respectively. Good work folks!

Port Adelaide Power (available) v Hawthorn Hawks (available)
9.3.57 (Q1) 2.3.15
16.9.105 (Q2) 3.5.23
21.12.138 (Q3) 8.8.56

11.10.76 (Q3) 11.6.72
16.16.112 (Q4) 13.9.87
I saw most of the Dogs/Cats game and found it very entertaining. The lead changed back and forth before the Cats took hold of the game in the final quarter. The Dogs need to have a good hard look at themselves if they want to play finals.
Kudos to the Suns who came from 35 points down to convincingly beat the Crows up in Darwin.

Greater Western Sydney Giants (Duke) v Richmond Tigers (Philip)
2.4.16 (Q1) 6.4.40
6.9.45 (Q2) 9.4.58
8.12.60 (Q3) 11.10.76
15.14.104 (Q4) 16.14.110
Unlucky Giants - leading with minutes to go.
Essendon Bombers (Val) v v North Melbourne Kangaroos (Steve)
6.2.38 (Q1) 3.0.18
6.6.42 (Q2) 6.4.40
12.7.79 (Q3) 10.8.68
16.9.105 (Q4) 15.9.99
More heartbreak for North Melbourne. Bombers made hard work of the win.

Never mind here goes for next week and a couple of strange ..."
Pickett for the Tigers scored the final winning goal with just 24 seconds remaining! The lead changed several times in the last 10 minutes.....in all 12 goals were scored in that final quarter between both teams. The Giants actually out scored the Tigers in that final quarter, but were 3 goals behind to begin with. Giants got 7, Tigers 5....bloody Tigers!
