JUNE 2023 MINI CHALLENGES

RULES

** Books DO NOT all have to be mysteries. You can use any genres.

** A book can be used only once for this challenge, but can be used for other challenges (Seasonal, World Trip, Read the USA, Popsugar, etc.).

** You DO NOT have to choose books in advance, and can change your mind at any time if you do.

** Do as many as you are able and have fun!

1. June is Adopt a Cat Month and June 4 is Hug Your Cat Day: Read a book that features a cat or has a cat on the cover.

2. June 7 is VCR Day. Before DVDs and streaming services, there was the VCR: Take a stroll down memory lane by reading a book with a VCR function in the title (e.g.: eject, forward, off, on, pause, play, program, set, stop, record, rewind, time).

3. June 8 is Best Friend's Day: Read a book from a friend's shelf (GR or real life).

4. June 21 is Finally Summer Day/the Summer Solstice in the northern Hemisphere: Read a book set in summer, or with 'summer' in the title.

Posting a bit earlier than usual this month, as we have a long holiday weekend coming up here in the US (Memorial Day) and I know many will be away from home at that time. I hope people have fun with the second prompt. When I tested it on my own GR TBR shelf, I found numerous options, especially with the following words: on, off, play, stop, time. Enjoy! 😎
