Anita, It looks like you missed me. I need a roll please.I could be reading it wrong but I think Joys’s 880 is worth a total of 5 rolls.

Sorry, Nancy! I added. Will double check on Joy, but it won't matter as she rolls off the board and has to start anew with a new roll.
UPDATE: You are correct . . .Joy's book is 5 dice. I corrected.
Thanks!Congratulations Joy! I hope to join you in the near future.
I’ll have to remember not to add a long book at the end of my next list too.

That's what I get for not re-reading the instructions. As you say, it doesn't matter because I roll off the end of the board either way.
Anita, I posted my latest list of books for Subdue the Shelf here:https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Please let me know if I need to move it somewhere else.
I am ready for my first roll on the new board.

I’ve got to get off the train for a little while. I’ll see you at the Engineer’s department meeting in March. We don’t want to leave Ellen too soon though.
I am ready for my next roll - my last book was 544 pages, so I think it qualifies me for 2 dice instead of one. Here's the link for verification: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Untitled-Phi...
Rolls for 2/24:Pam 6-6
Nicole 1-4
Joy 4
Hannah 5-6
Olivermagnus 2
Hannah, yours is a special roll so please be sure to note whose book you read to address that somewhere on your tracking.
Roll requests for 2/25:Heather Reads Books (2)
Joanne (2)
Joy D (1)
Daniel (2)

Can I have my next roll, please.Anita, could you also please clarify something when you give me the roll:
On my last roll I landed on and read my book in spot 100 at porter level, as well as a book on someone else's board. I'm not quite sure if my next roll will therefore be the one that rolls me off the porter board, or it will tell me where to start at engineer level. I have also made a new gameboard on the engineer thread.
Thank you!

Lol, that's a good question, but I think you have reached the very end of the Porter board, so the next roll can be your first for Engineer. An additional roll would serve no purpose really as there are no books left in front of you on which you could possibly land.
Anita, if I am correct, this means I have a special roll of 4,6? Is this correct? Or is that different from 6,4? I've been meaning to ask if the order matters so this is a good opportunity.

You do not need to use this now if you don't want to. You can use it anytime.
Heather Reads Books wrote: "Yayyy, I think I'm finally out of the caboose with that roll!!"Congrats! Welcome to the baggage car. There's plenty of games and puzzles and possibly a cat, I'm not sure if he escaped back here or not. I'm now in the middle of the baggage car while working on my legos and slowly reading.

Congrats to all! Love the spiffy Engineer caps and uniforms being paraded by JoyD and Hannah. Ellen is looking smart in her fresh Porter attire. The Cabanna Boys in the Caboose have spruced themselves up hoping to impress! I hear there are runway shows as all strut their new attire.
@Heather Reads Books! Welcome to Baggage Car where multiple puzzles and games are ongoing and CGI Tom keeps the vending machines full and the cases of beverages stocked - I made sure of that! I spotted Gnarly lounging on the red duffle Amy used for weeks. Keeping it warm while hoping for her return but also knowing JoyD will be along soon and letting all and sundry pay him honor with pets and treats.
I am by the Baggage Car door, leaving for Second Class Lounge as soon as I finish my current read. About time too! I hear Mistress Joanne has been causing trouble and encouraging the firefighters to do more flexing than keeping drinks refreshed and passing around snacks. My presence clearly needed to restore some minimal orderliness.
I see OM holding court and teaching the cafe attendant how to make lavender flavored cocktails in First Class Cafe while regaling all with her cruise adventures with her sister, and just how boisterous was Stanley's greeting on her return home - nothing like a pup to welcome you!
Daniel and RobinP will be next to graduate to Porter. Both are currently enjoying the luxuries of the Private Parlor Car -- and Robin is so comfy, she's taking her time, savoring the experience. The staff love it.
I personally love Joanne's encouraging the flexing - but look forward to your arrival, as our gang sure does have a lot of fun. We may never get out of second class at this rate.
