Ready for a roll tomorrow, please

I ordered a delicious lobster bisque earlier. Right now I'm reading my new book and sipping my latest cocktail creation, Winter Orange Whiskey.

I hear that the seafood chowder is superb.

Seafood chowder is perfect as the weather is rainy and cold here.
IRL, I'll be having Senate Bean Soup.

I am 3/4 of the way through my current book, so I am requesting my next roll please.

Some years back we were visiting my parents and youngest brother and his family. His kids at that time were 8, 5 and 3 years old. They had a play kitchen, complete with lots of play food. As my parents, my sis-in-law, and I sat at the table conversing, our oldest niece came by and said "we're playing restaurant and you are our customers," and she proceeded to take our orders. I ordered fish tacos, and she went back to the playroom where our nephew (the 'chef') plated a plastic fish which our niece brought out to me. Then my sis-in-law ordered the lobster bisque. Again, the 'chef' plated a lobster which was served. My mother wanted a shrimp cocktail. Back to the kitchen, and our server returned with a crab on the plate (no plastic shrimp in the kitchen apparently). Then my father asked for the seafood platter. Niece went to the kitchen where we clearly heard the clatter of small objects and then the 'chef' say ... "We're OUT of fish!"

What a charming memory!

Goodreads has been overcapacity off and on all day, so it's been hard to get on and stay on. Other people might not have been able to put in their requests.
added - There were problems last night too, starting with search problems, and various error messages.

I'm also redeeming my extra dice for reading Calico Palace - 589 pages

Anita,
So strange for this to have happened to me twice now, but this roll actually takes me to spot 15 on my Engineer board. Does being moved to a random spot on the board only apply at Porter level, or will I be moved at Engineer level as well?
Thank you!

ETA - Or should I wait to see if Hannah passes me with her spot 15 adjustment, assuming it is valid for Engineer level?

Yes, Hannah is going to ride the bullet train, and then she'll need to move back the three spaces after she completes her bullet train move (note: if she had landed behind you, you would have had to move back, but the odds were low). So complicated!

You've got a lot going on!
1. Please read and review your book at 15.
2. Then you are riding the bullet train to 55. Read that book.
3. And then, as the current leader, you are moved back by Joy's roll 3 spaces to 52.
Yowser!
p.s. You also have a 7 lol, so you can read one of the books adjacent to 15 if you prefer.

Way to go HANNAH!

Here is my gameboard incase you didn't see it or I put it in the wrong place.

Welcome to the game cosmic! Anita does all of the rolls at the same time after 3pm. You have some really interesting books on your list! While you’re waiting, you might want to double check that they all meet the page requirements. I clicked on one that didn’t show any page numbers at all. Check Amazon hard cover editions; they need to be at least 150 pages. You can use a Sub if you land on a book that doesn’t qualify, but you only have two once the game starts. Happy reading!

Please move to the March thread for your rolls later today.

@Cosmic - it is easier to just look at all the editions of the book on the book's home page and switch to one that shows the page count. To do so, on book's home page scroll down below bookcover to where other editions shown then click on 'show all editions'. A list opens in new tab.
Unfortunately too many people who enter a book on GR do not include page count. My pet peeve is that GR could easily make that mandatory information but doesn't.
P.S. glad to see another Agatha Christie fan here.
