February Subdue the Shelf Roll Requests
@Anita - on the Clerk Master Gameboard - I left #13 and it is #18 where I now sit with LibraryCin, Doughgirl, and Gnarly (you have a double 19). We are wrapping up a game of Classic Clue. Gnarly is winning.

Congratulations, Ellen! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 You are moving into the Royal Coach! That turn as engineer in the Locomotive is in sight! Are you planning to continue to porter?
@Sue! I'm getting out the LOTR Risk -- we can battle over who gets the ring! Bring on the orcs, dragons, and trolls! We are NOT allowing Gnarly to play - he cheats!

Yes, I definitely intend to continue. It feels great to get so many books off that towering TBR.
I’m ready for a new roll. My last book was 600 pages, so I believe that means I get two extra rolls this time.
Olivermagnus wrote: "Good morning from the beautiful island of Aruba. I'm ready for another roll."I hope you’re having a great time. We loved it there. The snorkeling was great, but that was a long long time ago. The Macarena was the big new hit.
Can I have my next roll, please? I've read both my spot 15 and spot 60 books. The spot 15 book was 608 pages, so I think that means I get an extra 2 rolls this time.

How fun! I get to read a book from someone else's board before asking for my next roll, after reading the book at this spot. I see some fun time checking out everyone's game boards.
It also means I'll be remaining in the Baggage Car for while longer. That game of LOTR RIsk, the extended version, might actually finish before I leave.
And I can continue making sure CGI Tom is working up to capacity.
Amy wrote: "The only way I am going to be able to live with that Damned Cat another second, is I can immediately passed one of those Raspberry Rosemary Daquiri's ASAP! I hope Gnarly chokes on one of the pieces..."Amy, I continue to be part of the Caboose Crew. I really do favor dogs and thought the scent of one might make Gnarly become feisty again!
I also got my acceptance into the MBA Program I was telling you about so have been working through onboarding processes which has taken time.
Congratulations, Hayjay! On another subject, I think it was a great idea to give more rolls for longer books read.
Yay for HayJay!!!! Seriously guys, I am trying to get to my next subdue book. I’m hoping to carry it with me on the plane on Saturday. Like I’m feeling the pressure it’s been a while since I’ve requested a roll.
Great news, HayJay! and totally understand how your time is absorbed. Besides the Caboose needs some stability here and there. Keep those Cabana Boys busy.

Anita, thank you for believing in me so much but I'm still on the Clerk level so I'll need one more number:)
Finished my subdue book (review coming later today) and am half-way through the book from another player's shelf, so I'm ready for another roll!(Ah, the joys of doing one on audio and one in text ...)

Oh, Diana! I'm so sorry.
2-4 is your roll.

Rolls for 2/16Book Concierge 2-4
anaressa 6-4
Joy D 3
Hannah 1
Jen K 3-6
Olivermagnus 3
NancyJ 4
Anaressa, your 6-4 earns you a surprise advantage. Your advantage is "skip a book". You may use it at any time. So when you land on a space, you may opt to request another roll right away and take your next move without reading the book.
Excitement is rippling through the StS Express as Ellen waits for her next roll to see if she's driving the locomotive and graduating to Porter level! The Caboosians and the Cabana Boys are all ready to welcome her back. I see Hayjay and SallyS are making sure the welcome banner is properly affixed. But the really big excitement is the first Shake it Up Sunday arrives this weekend...right on the heels of 2 of our Porters riding the Shinkansen!
I am ready for my next roll - 2 dice this time, since my last book was over 500 pages. There are so many hard copy versions of this book (it was published in 1902), so here's link for verifying pages:
https://www.amazon.com/Wings-Everyman...
I'm probably staying where I am for a couple more weeks because I have another challenge I want to finish this month and my current StS book doesn't work for it.

OMG, Rachel! Thank you so much for that reminder. We skipped the first one, and that totally put it out of my brain apparently.
So Shake it Up Sunday will definitely be happening starting on the 19th. It's marked in my calendar. THANK YOU!!
